Food has gotten incredibly pricey, quality has gone way down. And the portions are small, I felt like I got ripped off. Cuernavaca is much better and they have great prices, new favorite spot on the avenue.

I've been a loyal customer of Maggie's for quite some time now, and let me tell you, it's always worth the drive across town for one of their mouthwatering burritos.I recently swung by for lunch with a friend and indulged in their Carne Asada burrito with all the fixings. Let me tell you, it was a flavor explosion! The burritos here are always spot on, prepared just the way you like them. And don't even get me started on their flautas – they're a must-try!Service at Maggie's is top-notch – quick, efficient, and always served up with a smile. I've never had any issues with them, although I do miss the picnic table they used to have outside. It was a nice touch, but alas, it's no longer there. That's really my only gripe. Considering the quality of the food, I'd say it's well worth it. Although, I wouldn't mind seeing a seating area added in the future.Overall, Maggie on the Avenue is a gem of a spot for anyone craving authentic Mexican cuisine. With flavorful dishes, friendly service, and a convenient location, it's definitely earned its spot as one of my favorite go-to spots in town.

I love this place! Best shredded beef burrito in town for under 7 bucks and homemade chocolate chip cookies.!!!
One ground beef taco salad $10 and one chicken taco $3.75 and one chocolate chip cookie $2.00. I weighed the shredded unflavored chicken at 1oz when I got back the office and the ground beef was nonexistent. It wasn’t what u expected and wished I had gone to the grocery store. Never again.

“That was like…spiritual…this place did everything well, especially the beans” - my gf. Incredibly good ? this is a locals gem of a spot that absolutely deserves a stop on the way to Ojai! She had the Asada Fries and I had the Bacon Breakfast Burrito with crispy potatoes. We meant to take pictures but once I took a bit I couldn’t stop! Come see for yourself!
