Food overpriced and mid
Food Server rude to specifically one person for no reason The first time we’ve been was perfectly fine but this time was not so good
Not bad. Visit was some time ago, but the review slipped through the net. Decent burger, french toast was average, cost was ehh, people were nice and the view was nice.
Marina Cafe is a conveniently located on site at Lake Casitas. One of many amenities for your camping getaway. Mom and Pap atmosphere with indoors and outdoor seating overlooking the lake. I enjoyed a delicious tuna melt and fries.
Best spot to grab breakfast or lunch and sit by the lake for the amazing view. If you are at the park just for food you can ask for a Cafe parking pass for free. Sometimes we even get to see the Eagle up in his tree.
I had the most horrible experience there on October 5. The older woman who took my order gave me unwarranted attitude the entire time and then insulted me because she made a mistake and charged me for breakfast when they no longer served breakfast so I had to change my order and rightfully so I wanted the difference in price for having to change to something cheaper. She also charged me for extra gravy even though I didn’t ask for it. When I asked her if she was charging me extra gravy she lied and she wasn’t but the receipt showed that she did. Then she got mad because I wanted my money back for that, and she took it out of the tip jar, which was weird. She insulted me in Spanish so I wouldn’t know what she said. Absolutely disgusting. Then I spoke to the manager and all he offered me was a fake apology. Turns out the rude and disrespectful woman is the wife to the manager Carlos (don’t know the woman’s name as she didn’t have a name tag) so I highly doubt anything will be done about her. I will never eat at this restaurant again unless she is fired or it goes under new management.

They don't tell you until you sit there for 10 minutes that there is no menu for the table. you have to read it from board in the corner, then come up and order your own food. (I was one of 2 tables in the whole place. no one was even here.)
Then their pay system expects you to put in a tip when you purchase the food when there is no service. Lol
so let me get this straight, You want a tip for no service but bringing it to the table. If we must do everything else ourselves, why not have us pick up food from the counter too?
The lady at the register was very lazy. I guess she's also the server. She gave me a dirty look when I didn't tip at the register paying for the food before you receive it.
How about, like the rest, you supply a check at the end. So we may decide if a tip is worthy. Which of course it was not.
And the food... somehow the French toast was burnt on the outside and soggy on the inside. And there biscuits and gravy was dry and almost unable to swallow.
Won't be coming back.
Save your money and cook your own breakfast at your camp.

Spendy, but isn’t everything these days? Favorites are the breakfast burritos (huge!) and the chicken fried steak. Beautiful view, friendly staff. Linger a little in the parking lot and soon you will see the Great Blue Heron and white heron activity in the eucalyptus grove across the way. That’s worth a few of those dollars right there - what a treat!

The food is delicious, the setting spectacular and the chain saw carvings by Vern Fields are worth seeing.
I don’t know where to start. The atmosphere is marvellous. The service is super great and the host Matthew is above and beyond in making sure everything is right. The view is breathtaking. One of the best places I’ve been to, hands down!!!

Whenever I'm in Ojai I like to eat here. The lake is steps away from your dining table. Ask for a café pass at the front gate, and you won't have to pay to enter. But only for café don't go sightseeing.
