The service was great. Sat down fast and got food fast. So far best beef salad here. For crab rangoons, they just taste like cream cheese. For tom yum soup, its on the sweeter side and i like more savory. Go to am noodle for savory tom yum soup and crab rangoons but beef salad is better here. Ambiance is good, they play chill beach music. Their thai tea is strong but not my preference.

The food was just wow. We ordered Shrimp Tom kha soup which was mind blowing, chicken Pad thai, Beef Mussamun and mango sticky rice. Everything was just wow but I would rate beef Mussamun less. It was tasty but little sweeter which doesn't go with my tastebud. It's little pricey but the taste worth the price.

This place is delicious. We were on vacation in Ventura and had the pleasure of ordering take out from here. The owner and staff are very friendly. We ate our food so fast I forgot to take a picture 😂😋😋. We ordered the drunken noodles with beef and the chicken satay and crab Rangoon. We spent just under $50 including a tip. The restaurant itself is quaint but I feel like it's more of a takeout spot. I highly recommend

Disappointing Experience with Tom Yum Soup
We ordered the Tom Yum soup noodle, expecting a flavorful and spicy dish. But for $20, all we got was a sweet and sour broth with noodles and a few pieces of chicken. The taste, flavor, and presentation were nothing like authentic Tom Yum.
In fact, a simple cup of noodles would have tasted better. Unfortunately, we can't recommend this dish and won't be coming back.

Pad Thai and Khao soi were amazing. Well worth the wait.
Lunch or dinner, this is hands down some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had. My go-to is the stir-fry mixed veggies with chicken, and the Larb salad with minced chicken was amazing. If you like lemon, this one’s for you—it comes on a bed of lettuce wrap with minced chicken.
The host even handed me some sliced cucumber and told me to scoop the chicken on top and try it that way—great combo with the crunch. Little touches like that make the meal even better.

I’ve had Moons Thai a handful of times now and every time the food has been fresh, delicious, and the customer service was excellent. Very friendly staff. In my opinion, this establishment is among the top 3 Thai restaurants in Ventura. I highly recommend any of their noodle dishes, all are great!
