I usually go at later time to avoid a crowd. Been here a few times now and I enjoy it everytime. The kids meal is enough for me but my husband enjoys double smash. THE PICKLES AND JALAPEÑOS! WE HAVE REQUESTED TO BUY A JAR OF EACH! PLEASE CONSIDER! WEve enjoyed getting to know the son Eduardo. It's a clean spot to eat and they always have smiles on their faces.

Ate here today as a quick bite and just to try something we hadn’t had before, In short- it was amazing. As soon as we walked in it did look a little empty, (seemed like they weren’t super busy when we went in) but we were quickly greeted by a polite young man who helped us place our order, i would like to note that $13 for a really really really good smash burger, fresh french fries that were perfectly crisp and a soda is probably the best price we have paid for a meal in ventura in so long, not to mention the size of the burger was probably as big as my face. The food was made fresh and quickly and brought to our table, we were offered a wide variety of condiments such as ketchup, ranch, mustard, etc. As soon as we saw the burgers we knew they would satisfy our craving. Honestly, Mr.chubbys is probably the best burger i have had in a VERY LONG TIME. So juicy and flavorful, not to mention their brioche buns were something out of my dreams. If you’re ever in Ventura and need a quick bite that was full you up and satisfy you, Mr. Chubbys smash burger is the place to go!

There is a nice little patio, which Chubby's shares with a cute coffee house where we enjoyed a good smash burger and fries.. also, plenty of tables inside the very clean and well-kept restaurant. Will definitely go again :)

Got just a normal cheese burger and fries. The meat was juicy and tasty. The lettuce, tomato, pickles, and onion were nice and crisp. I loved the fries, they had a seasoned salt on them, so they weren't bland. Overall it was a delicious burger with good service.

The burgers are hardly edible. They fall apart after the first bite. THE messiest sandwich ever. Flavors are meh. Fries are on the verge of burnt. No variety on the menu. If you’re going to be bold enough to put arugula on a burger, it had better be a damn good burger. Service is a joke. Spend your money elsewhere.
