Normally I love O-Sabi, I have been coming here for years now but on this occasion I couldn't be more disgusted and bewildered.
For some unknown reason, the staff here decided it would be perfectly fine for some women to bring her lap dog not only into the restaurant but to the Teppan table. You know the one where they cook right in front of you. So yeah, there's a dog at what is pretty much our kitchen and dining table...
What the hell!? I would typically blame the moronic woman who brought the dog to a RESTAURANT in the the first place however this is totally on the staff at O-Sabi. You can say no to people, especially in this situation. I will not be coming again.

This place had great food ambiance, atmosphere, and service. I've been to quite a number of Hibachi style grills, and all the entertainment value was acceptable. The food tasted great, and the chef was courteous and communicative.
Amazing experience went for Wife's Birthday could not have been happier....Perfectly balanced flavors, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. It's a must-try for anyone in Ventura!
