Old Creek Ranch & Winery

Old Creek Ranch & Winery offers a great wine-tasting experience, especially if you’re looking for good deals on cases. Their wine selection was solid, hitting all the right notes, and the staff did a great job recommending pairings. However, one major downside was the lack of food options.

While they were very knowledgeable about what pairs well with each wine, they didn’t have any food available for purchase. If you plan to visit, I’d highly recommend bringing your own snacks. A charcuterie board with cheese and crackers would be perfect—especially the Unexpected Cheddar from Trader Joe’s.

Overall, it was a good experience with quality wines and great deals, but the absence of food options was disappointing. If they added even a small selection of snacks, it would elevate the experience significantly.

Very nice and friendly atmosphere. I didn’t like the view we had but there was no other choice. The wine tasted just fine. Will come back with reservations for a better spot.

Long overdue review. This is not for the wine but for the service and hospitality.

My fiancé proposed to me here and went out of his way to call ahead to make sure we got the best view of the vines to propose to me. When we got there it was completely empty with just one other group. They sat us all the way at the bottom surrounded by dirt views. He then proposed to me and the staff comes to ask if we need anything else ignoring what just happened and then proceeds to make us pay for celebratory drinks on the spot. The whole vibe and service was awful and ruined our special moment.

Old Creek Ranch Winery offers a stunning setting, with beautiful grounds and peaceful surrounding, especially on a quiet Monday. It’s a relaxing spot to take in the views of the vineyard while sipping a glass.

We were a bit disappointed to learn that the wine we tried wasn’t from the vineyard itself. Apparently, they had a fungus issue a while back, and it will be several years before they can use their own grapes again. But honestly, the views and the ambiance make up for it, and we’d definitely come back for the experience.

I always love coming here. It's beautiful & peaceful. Today we enjoyed a private feeling grapevine covered pergola overlooking the vineyard. We enjoyed a bottle of wine with small talk while watching the birds fly about. Just a perfect day!

Not family friendly

This is a charming place nestled in a vineyard in Casitas Springs. Great tasting wine, but the beautiful facility is what made you feel you were in Paso or Napa.

What a place! Beautiful serene setting and incredible wine. I love that you can rent these private Cabana areas and that dogs are welcome too. Suggest bringing your own snacks as their menu is limited. What a treasure for Ventura county.

Beautiful setting to enjoy wine and great service! I wish they allowed children though! Their space seems perfect for it, compared to stuffy tasting rooms (that usually allow them). They have separated cabanas that wouldn't even allow others to see that they are there with you

Terrific wines in a tranquil setting served by staff that is both friendly and knowledgeable. A great place to spend a relaxing afternoon with your friends or significant other, and an all around wonderful experience.

Wow, what a great experience! Super friendly and helpful service and their system of private trellis covered areas makes for a private wine tasting adventure. I only gave 4 stars because I wish the wine was better, but then I am kind of a snob about wine. The wine is good, but not great, but it is a great place to have a nice relaxing afternoon of sipping!

A gorgeous place with delicious wines. Loved all the grass area for our dog to lay. Would absolutely recommend to anyone in the area!
