My mother and I lunched here again today. We always get great service and today, Jason continued our excellent track record here. We enjoyed some great cocktails and shrimp tacos. Jason was attentive to our needs, patient and considerate. What a pleasure to have a local restaurant that we love to visit.

My wife and I ate here a few times while staying at the Marriott during the Thomas fire. The breakfast was good and they offered a buffet as well. Dinner was pretty good too. But it was hard off to the cheese cake dessert that was awesome! Service was a little slow....

Came in tonight because I was staying in the hotel and the room service menu left something to be desired. So down to the restaurant I went. I wasn't expecting too much after seeing the room service menu and other yelp reviews. I was pleasantly surprised by the food I received. First I got my rolls, but they weren't like any standard rolls you might expect. They brought me one olive and one fresh garlic roll both nice and warm and very tasty. Then came my dinner, ale braised short ribs with carrots and cheddar mashed potatoes. The ribs were so tender you only needed a fork to eat them, the only negative I had about the whole meal was that my carrots were over cooked. Definitely good for a "hotel" restaurant.

For a lunch experience, Breakfast is always great! I've been staying here at the Marriott for about 2 months. I've came down and ate here quite a few times since my stay, and, the food has gone so downhill. The burger came out today like it was from Burger King. The fries were the frozen crinkle cut great value you buy at Walmart. Been sitting here 35 min and haven't had a refill on my water. When I first arrived the food was really good. Plump juicy burgers homemade pizza... you could tell they cared. After today, I won't be back.

This place is HIGHLY overpriced. Comfort Inns are much nicer & more comfortable at half the price. Don't waste your money on this place. It smells old, TV is lousy, ice machine is broken...no complimentry anything included in this over priced place...not even wifi.

I ordered the Procuitto Brie and Apple Flatbread. They brought it to me with cut up deli ham. Enough said.

I know that I've mentioned the omelette's before but I have to say it again. Chef Ruben makes THE BEST omelette's in town! My favorite is the "chile verde" and no other restaurant makes it this delicious!!

Had dinner one night. Wild mushroom risotto with shrimp. Out of this world..but could have used more the 4 shrimps -that was added on. Also had all American breakfast. . Very good too. Love the ambience.

Salad with chicken was very small. The chicken on the salad was not that great. The albondigas soup was okay. The Caesar salad was absolutely salty. So overall not so great.

In the scope of hotel food, I'd generally say the food was mediocre and at best filled my belly, but "he" said I had to leave at least a 4-star rating for of all things, the eggs Benedict. I'm not a fan of eggs, I had a toasted bagel and cream cheese with some boysenberry preserves, he had eggs Benedict and evidently they were THE BEST eggs Benedict he has ever had at a hotel! They looked quite pretty, plated nicely with perfectly poached eggs and velvety yellow Hollandaise. I dunno, I think if I liked eggs I'd want bearnaise instead...something about the licorice taste of the herb that makes me melt. I digress...he loved the eggs and said it a few times so here I am. Good little restaurant, though I would have liked my bagel toasted a bit more and maybe a better selection other than blueberry or wheat, but it was passable and I made do. Next time we would request extra spicy Bloody Mary's...these were a on the "vanilla" side of spicy; in other words, we had to tailor ours with Tobasco and pepper to make it decent. Friendly wait staff. Restaurant was quiet or maybe it was the ambient waterfall sound from the nearby lobby. Very nice really. Full bar...I bet this place it a nice option for evening cocktails...as long as the valet parking isn't $16 (which is the overnight cost for valet.). We would stay here again.
