Solid place for a variety of Chinese food flavors and dishes; came here twice in a week, preferred their EZ takeout ordering online, then pick up to eat at home. Good quality and wide menu for meats, seafood, veggies, noodle and rice dishes, appetizers plus dim sum (on wkends). Casual ambience, friendly service (efficient but slower) and moderate pricing. Overall 3.5+ rating for good eats. Expect to pay $13-15pp for lunch specials, or $15-25pp for dinner. Indoor dining has 15-20 booths/tables, so if busy mealtime hours, there may be a wait. Today we tried a few Dim Sum dishes to start - our fave was the steamed pork soup dumplings, tasty! Also a big fan of their Mu Shu Pork ... meat, veggies and egg stir-fried then wrapped in warm pancake wrapper served with Hoisin sauce - delicious! Can't find this dish very often, so i enjoyed it both times ordering food here. Plenty to choose from on the menu, and they also have luncheon specials that come with soup/salad/app during afternoon hours. Decent spot if you're craving some Chinese food, and not looking for a fast food restaurant. Enjoy!!

Clean, traditional, & well maintained restaurant. We opted to try their bao as requested. While I didn't get much soul in the bao itself, they gave a bowl which looks to be like juice to top it. It was flavorful and not dry. The wonton also had a surprisingly burst of sweet and savory but no where near spicy despite the chili flakes. The crispy noodles were good. As it was thinner noodles, the gravy sauce drenched also soften it up making it a different texture that you expect from this dish. Service was great! Quick and attentive to not just our food but water too! We grabbed boba prior so this was just a snack meal for our party!

Food was absolutely delicious, lunch menu has me exploring different plates. Kung Pao mixed vegetables with pork. Yum! Iced tea is very refreshing. Service is excellent, place is very clean, restrooms also clean.

The service was great, the food came quickly, and the lunch special is a deal at $12.99. (And they even offer it on the weekends.) Lots of choices on the menu. Pretty standard Chinese food in a nice dining room.

Wanted Chinese tonight and didn't want to dine out so ordered delivery; I'm afraid to say my experience today was even worse than 3 months ago so moving forward I'll need to find another Chinese restaurant. To put things in perspective Panda Express would have been better, and I'm not a fan of that restaurant. The orange beef was on the dry side and very chewy, although it was flavorful. The sweet and pungent chicken was dry and chewy as well (similar to consistency of deep fried calamari). Overall tonight dinner was a waste of $50. I also would like to see a little more information on their website: most dishes just give the title, but no description. You have no idea what type of sauce its cooked in, nor what vegetables if any are in the dish.

It was honestly the BEST Chinese I have had in YEARS. I got Kung Pao tofu and they offered to add tons of fresh fresh veggies....there must have been at least 15 ingredients in it...the taste was spicy and amazing. I will be back!!!

Ordered several dishes that came out promptly and were very flavorful without being greasy, oily, or overpowering. The noodles were perfectly soft and tasty. The wonton soup was great, amazing broth. The curry chicken was tender and had the right amount of spice. My favorite might be the green bean chicken. All dishes had quality vegetables and I appreciated every staff member had masks and there were hand sanitizers on every table.

I work as a caregiver as a side job, and the little lady I take care of has an active social calendar for being 96 years old, She was invited to attend a group dinner at Peking inn and I was her companion. Located in the Vons shopping center , you don't know what to expect when you approach, but once indoors, you are greeted by the staff and promptly seated. We ordered the Sweet and Sour Chicken to split and a side of Steamed rice, I also ordered a few of my favorite dim sum favorites and was surprised that the majority of the people attending the dinner had never tried dim sum at all! Great quantities, definitely took food home. The food came out piping hot and the staff were very attentive. I am so glad I discovered Peking in Ventura and will try it again in the future.

This is my absolute go-to Chinese restaurant. The service is fast and pleasant. THE FOOD is well-prepared and reliably consistent. Margaret is a gem chef and owner. They were a godsend during the Pandemic. I love their menu and go often. The lighting is low and ambient.
