Pizza Chief is truly a Ventura gem! The people who work there are always warm and super friendly. But the pizzaā¦ wow. Itās seriously some of the best Iāve ever had. The crust is perfect every time, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and they nail the balance of sauce, cheese, and toppings. Every bite is delicious! All their other food is amazing. The dressings are so flavorful, their sandwiches are great, and the lasagna is delicious! But honestly, the pizza is the star of the show!! You canāt go wrong with anything there. Oh and they also have great beer!! My entire family loves it there! Highly, highly recommended!

Been going to the Pizza Chief on Kimball since I moved here 25 years ago. They're a staple of east end Ventura. Their pizza is good and diverse in flavors, they hire local for illustrations and ads. The only thing I'd recommend is a more gripping arcade machine game.

I live in Newbury Park, but grew up in Ventura. Every time I go to Ventura, I get a Pizza Chief pizza to take home. Why you say? Because it is far better than what Newbury Park and Thousand Oaks has to offer. In my opinion Pizza Chief is an iconic restaurant in Ventura. It was a shame the Pizza Chief in Mid -Town Ventura is gone but the location in East Ventura is keeping the faith of the original one(s). If you are looking for great pizza and atmosphere Pizza Chief is place to go!

Really good pizza and a fun experience with kids as they have a little arcade. Beer by the pitcher if that's your thing. Very cozy atmosphere with sports playing on the TVs.
