Love this poke place! I got a large plate ( 4 protein). The guy hooked me up. He gave me a decent amount of fish and food was fresh and delicious over all. Highly recommend it

In am in shock how I was treated today at Poke Rainbow. This is the first time I’ve ever felt compelled to write a negative review.
In a new mom and I placed an online order . I arrived 5 min after the order was said to be ready. When I arrived , the store was empty. I asked for my pick up order. The gentleman said it would be ready in 1 min. I waited 5 min and came back in the store to see him serving another customer. I came back again 5 min later- now 15 min after my order was supposed to be ready- and again he said it’ll be ready in 1 min and begins making my order. He finished the firsts, but then didn’t realize there was 2 orders. At this point I asked if I could talk to manager about refund. He respondes “ I’m just one person” which I say back “ I understand I’m not trying to be mean, it’s just been 15 min”. At this point my baby is melting down. The gentleman then never makes the second order , and just puts the money for the second order in front of me and moves on to the next people. I was so shocked I just kept standing there- realizing he isn’t going to make me the second bowl and he isn’t going to give me his managers. information. So I just left quietly and started crying immediately when I got to my car. I’ll never come back to this store again

The poke bowl was so delicious I swallowed it. The portions were good good, generous enough to love.
What I didn't like was the price, I didn't ask for eggs. I guess the cost went up. I paid about $18 plus tax for a medium size bowl.
Would I recommend the place, for the delicious food, yes. But beware of the price inching close to $20 per bowl.

Immediately after I walked in the vibes were weird. There were 2 staff, a man and a woman, and while the woman was making my food, the man was watching her like a HAWK. I don’t know if he was training or if he was her handler. I also found plastic in my food and the fish seemed like it was frozen.

Came back here two years later and its worse than what it was in 2022.For a bowl that is about $20, with half of the items being out of stock. Yet they still charge full price. Staff are slow, and when you ask them questions, they are slow to respond. They also have a yelp offer that they dont honor. The staff said that the owner does not honors it, and when you contact the owner via message, he says he does so who knows who is not saying the truth.Definitely wont be back ever again for mediocre food and slow staff and overpriced items.

Stopped by to pick up a bowl with my daughter, and the father and son team behind the counter were great.We joked about the small portion ( medium size fed two of us with leftovers). Very fresh tuna and perfect rice.All the added sides made the bowl weigh at least 2 pounds. Great stop if you’re in the area.
Parking: In Lowes center, plenty of parking.
Wheelchair accessibility: ADA ramps available right in front of store.

Awesome employees and I love coming here to pick up some poke for a really good price! Employees are so nice and sweet, I really recommend this place to anyone who wants a great meal of poke :DEdit: I went recently and the prices have changed a lot now, for two medium poke bowls it comes out to almost/more than 40$, it also doesn't come with the mochi and/or the macaroons and a soda like how it use to. (I ordered for pickup)
Got there 30 minutes before closing time. A bunch of items on the menu were out. The guy working there was noticeably tired but he did his best, explained the options, offered substitutes for the missing items. The amount of fish was better than at other places in Ventura but the overall taste was a bit weird. May give it another chance, but a no go overall. On the pricey side.

Sometime during April 3-7, we had a great, medium poke bowl for the 2 of us. It was quite tasty and the fish was fresh. There were no other customers there at the time. Our server, Joshua, was very friendly and we enjoyed his service and interaction. There was another employee, an older woman, sitting back-behind the counter who was unfriendly and scowling at us....it created an uncomfortable atmosphere. I can only imagine how unpleasant it must be to work with her for a shift. We will return because the food was good, but I hope the scowling woman isn't around.
