No problem. The butter here cascades from the ceiling like an elegant golden shower. Open wide. God’s ancient warrior serum will cure all ailments. Yum 🤤

Great place with cool and chill staff ready to take your order and get a drink to you quickly. They are amazing at what they do and they make your drink wiith a smile. The becerages I've gotten here are delicious. Most recently the Solimar Coconut. So unique in a latte but goes so well with the espresso. The atmosphere is great. Limited seating but on a good day it's great to take a walk with your latte anyhow :) get some Prospect Coffee and head to the Pier or watch the sunrise and it will make your morning.

I visited during a slow morning today, and I ordered an iced honey latte with oat. The girl at the register repeated it back to me and said iced honey latte so I didn’t assume anything would be wrong with my drink. It came out hot, lukewarm actually. They consistently get the iced/hot part of my order wrong even after repeating it back to me, I know I could ask them to remake it but it’s never been met with a friendly attitude in the past. Don’t think I’ll be coming back soon

When I first moved to Ventura a few years ago, I discovered Prospect Coffee Roasters, and it quickly became one of those reliable, feel good spots.
West Ventura has no shortage of great coffee options now, but this is still one of my go to places. I love that I can walk in, grab my iced vanilla latte, and be on my way without any fuss. The loyalty points definitely do not hurt either. They always keep me coming back.
I am honestly not sure where some of the negative reviews come from. At a certain point, it feels like people are just committed to complaining and cosplaying as coffee critics.
Every time I am there, I am greeted, the service is efficient, and the drinks are consistent. I did not realize it was illegal for coworkers to talk to each other. And yes, dogs are not allowed inside. That is basic health department rules and common sense.
If you are looking for a cozy neighborhood coffee shop with solid coffee, quick service, and a great loyalty program, Prospect is worth stopping by.
Street parking only. Just be mindful not to block driveways.
