For my meal, I ordered shrimp, soup, and rice — a classic combination, but here it was prepared on a completely different level. The shrimp were large, fresh, and perfectly cooked, with a slight crispness on the outside and tender texture inside. They were served with a flavorful sauce that blended sweetness, acidity, and a mild heat, creating a beautiful balance that elevated each bite.
The soup was another highlight of the meal. Rich, aromatic, and full of depth, it carried delicate notes of lemongrass, coconut, and Thai spices. Every time I have to travel for work to Ventura I have to stop by Rice by Mama a couple of times. This place is the best, the chicken mango curry with red rice is my go to dish. You can't go wrong eating here, this place is awesome!

Server was nice and food taste was okay, but we completely lost our appetite after seen how dirty the place was looking like, utensils were dirty. We left our plates almost full and don't recommend at all.
Used to be better, don't know if it's under new management but things definitely changed. Still good food overall.
