Not a safe place for people with allergies!I ordered the roti which is specifically marked as gluten free. I then asked them to make sure it was made gutlen free. When they brought it to the table and I tasted it I knew something was wrong and asked them to check with the kitchen and they conformed that it was infact made with gluten.I am very sensitive and going to be sick for a week because of this. They need to fix their menu.

I just ordered a simple egg roll appetizer from Rice by Mama 2 and got terrible customer service from the waitress. I asked for my order and she completely dismissed me. When someone else arrived and asked if I wanted to get help first, I let her know that I had already gone but hadn’t been helped. The waitress then gave me attitude and told us that it wasn’t ready. My order said it had been ready by 6:50 pm yet I had not received it yet by 7:20 pm so my boyfriend went over to ask for it & got it within 2 minutes.Someone who lacks good customer service skills should not be working at the front.

Amazing food. Curry is exceptional. Noodles were the best I've ever had. I ordered for delivery and received it hot and timely.

OMG. This place is hands down the best! This food has amazing flavor! We literally drive 5+ hours to eat there. Our SoCal trips revolve around this place. You will NOT be disappointed, I assure you.

Really enjoy this place. Food is great but i do wish they had more people working there. We stopped for lunch on the weekend and there were only 2 servers taking care of everyone indoor and outdoor plus the location next door. If you are in a hurry this might not be a great option. Is the food worth the wait? Yes it is. They have great options and the food is flavorful and delicious. We tried the Pad Thai, gyozas, fried calamari and the crying tiger. Everything was delicious! There is indoor and outdoor seating. Lot of space outside to enjoy the food and people watching around downtown. Everyone is helpful and nice.

I have been here twice now and had a good experience both times. If someone wants Thai, I take themhere. The papaya salad is fresh and tasty, the curry is flavorful, the larb was delicious, too. What I like best is their Thai tea, because I get a chice of coconut milk and I absolutely LOVE that. No other place has ever asked me if I want coconut milk. Service is fine, I paid more attention to who I was there with and the conversation rather than how quickly the servers came. I don't like being rushed, so I don't mind if the servers take their time. Ambiance is alright, kind of bistro style inside, I like it more outside on the patio, because it's tucked away from the street. I'm a pretty happy customer and will definitely be back.

I can only judge by to go order. I went to the business today because I was craving pad Thai and this is one of the few businesses that offers different level heat for the dish.I also appreciate that they have both soft and crispy tofu and an option to make your noodles gluten-free, and the dish vegetarian.Service was great and I got my food decently fast and went on with my way.Rise by Mama is probably one of name stay place for quick Thai food in Ventura and it is just a reliable friend that will always be there. Thai food is probably one of my comfort foods when I am tired and stressed out and this definitely hit the spot.I also love that serving is still generous, despite inflation around the city. Will definitely be still in my rotation.

One of the best Thai foods I've ever had!! -The Tom Kha Seafood soup was so delicious and the spice level was perfect. I like my food spicy but not to the point where I'm suffering through it! Ha! There's more mushrooms in the soup than seafood but it's still so yummy, so I would still recommend it. The pineapple rice with chicken was good. You can choose to add shrimp or just veggies if you prefer. The portion was so large, which was great because we ordered different things so we could share. The crying tiger beef was also delicious! It was tender and flavorful. My son loved it! It came with a spicy dipping sauce, apple salad and a small portion of white rice. That in itself is a whole meal! The service was fantastic! Ant was our server and from the minute we walked in she was so helped. She was on top everything! Even before we can ask for anything she was already there on step ahead of us! The restaurant has comfortable seating inside or outside if you prefer. My kids wanted to eat inside, so we sat inside. 10/10 for this place!!

Very good, not superlative. Worth a visit if you like Thai food. Some of the Thai names for the dishes are obscured on their menus, but you can identify what is what if you're into Thai food.I had Pad Woon Sen, and it had fresh ingredients and was really good-- if a bit (but not objectionably) sweet in flavor. I ordered it HOT and it was spiced that way, nicely. There's a wide variety of dishes, some for omnivores and a healthy number of vegetarian alternatives. I was surprised that there were only a few fish dishes, but the appetizers looked good. The prices are on the higher side but they seem a good value. Expect to pay $20+ per meal, a non-alcoholic drink included. Service was fine.

No complaints. I loved what I ordered. If y'all are sitting outside and that extremely-cool breeze is attacking you, order yourself some soup and rangoons!!!Will definitely be back!
