Had a lovely lunch at Rice. It is a great casual spot for lunch, and super relaxed and comfortable if you are eating alone.I ordered the pad Thai with shrimp, which was very tasty and well prepared. Noodles are not overcooked and shrimp are good. Just don't put too much spicy sauce!Highly recommended, especially if you want a more relaxed alternative to Rice by Mama a block down.

Not a place I would visit again. The seafood tom yum soup had just mushrooms and very few pieces of seafood(2 prawns, 5 squid rings and 1 mussel for 18-20$ per bowl). They filled the bowl will just mushrooms and served. Forgot our green curry chicken order and then when we asked again, we were served with a yellow curry that was not green curry chicken at all! Definitely not authentic thai food!

This is one my favorite Thai places in Ventura. Service is great, food is authentic & flavorful.I love their house specials, the coconut chick is delicious. The pineapple fried rice had huge prawns. I definitely reccomend this place.

Great food, great server. Atmosphere was okay because a server at the neighboring restaurant was complaining about other servers and F bombing every other word for at least an hour. Other than that, sitting on the porch area was relaxing. I highly recommend ordering the Pad Thai dish and the Special Yellow Curry bowl.

Some of the best Thai food in Ventura. It is genuinelly difficult to choose something you would not like from their menu. Everything is so delicious.My go to is Massaman curry with red rice. It hits the spot everytime.
We came here for lunch and had an excellent meal. The outside seating was nice, the food was great, and the service was very good. This isn't fine dining, but for a nice casual Thai meal I would highly recommend this place!

I placed a pick up order this week and the website gave me an estimated pick up time. I ended up waiting for an hour for my food of 4 items and the only reason I did not leave was because ny food had to be paid online. When we first arrived they said the order would be out soon and we could take a seat as there were some empty tables. After waiting 30 min I decided to ask a waiter if he knew how much longer we would be waiting. He rudely told me to be patient and that it was the customers fault since every customer had placed over 10+ items. We then continued to wait and were then asked to give up our table and continue to wait up front by the register. I believe that day they were not seating people outside as well so inside was very loud. We then realized that our crab rangoons were burned and even tasted badly. I will not be going back here.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and assume that all the five star reviewers of this place have never been to Rice by Mama, or anywhere else for that matter. WORST THAI FOOD EVER. I ordered four dishes for pickup so we could get a good idea of the different entrees. Pad Thai, coconut chicken, glass noodles and the combo appetizer. I can't review too much on the apps because they were all fried and it was to go. However, waist of $14. The chicken from the Pad Thai, Coconut chicken and glass noodles should've been packaged, sealed and sold as jerky at the 76 market. The pad Thai and glass noodles were literally colorless, season less, spiceless (I asked for medium) and we're so, so disappointing. I ordered the coconut chicken because that was one of their specials and it was recommended on Yelp from other people. Again, chicken was jerky and the "coconut sauce" was yellow, colored water, period. Maybe the kitchen had they're bench team on tonight but I will NEVER go back there. I tried to call the restaurant to discuss this and never received a call back so that is the reason for this yelp. I spent $100 and feel like I got robbed.
