Rocks and Drams in downtown Ventura exceeded all expectations! Located on California Street, just south of Main Street, this hidden gem stands out with its bright exterior and inviting signage. Once inside, you're greeted with a sophisticated and elegant lounge atmosphere, complete with small tables, cozy couch seating, and a stylish bar.The upscale speakeasy vibe is enhanced by the dark, muted colors, luxurious fabrics, and eccentric artwork adorning the walls. While the music was a bit too loud for the ambiance, it didn't detract from the overall experience. The cocktails at Rocks and Drams are truly a work of art. Each drink is meticulously crafted with spot-on ingredients, offering a variety of options to suit every taste. The staff, including the friendly and knowledgeable bartender who assisted us, were exceptionally helpful and polite. What's more, the prices for the drinks are incredibly reasonable considering the upscale atmosphere of the lounge. I can't wait to return to Rocks and Drams for another unforgettable evening of delicious drinks and elegant ambiance. Five stars all the way!

Rocks and Drams in downtown Ventura exceeded all expectations during my recent visit for drinks with friends. Located on California Street just south of Main Street, it's easily accessible with parking available in the nearby garage on Santa Clara. While the exterior is bright and inviting with plenty of signage, the interior boasts a sophisticated and elegant speakeasy vibe. Dark, muted colors, upscale furnishings, and eccentric artwork create a luxurious ambiance perfect for a night out. The only minor drawback was that the music didn't quite match the upscale atmosphere, but it didn't detract from the overall experience. The cocktails were the true stars of the evening, with each one looking and tasting absolutely amazing. The ingredients were top-notch, and we enjoyed sampling a variety of drinks. The staff, including the bartender, were incredibly helpful, polite, and knowledgeable, making our experience even more enjoyable. Considering the upscale atmosphere, the drinks were reasonably priced, and I can't wait to return for another fantastic evening at Rocks and Drams. Five stars all around!

Such an amazing time! I went twice during the holidays. One of those was for my birthday!I was going through some things shortly after my bday so my friend took me out for dinner. I made a reservation & we got seated quickly. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The service was great! The drinks were so good. The food is just as amazing. I haven't tried everything yet, But the lobster Mac & cheese appetizer is s00000 good! I recommend it to everyone at the resort i work at. Perfect for dinner and to stay for the bar. they also have great music as well. Dre and the staff were amazing. Very friendly and welcoming. It made an impact on my evening and truly made it magical. From the chef to the hostess and Dre. Thank you! I will be back!

Cool little spot to go have drinks, they always change it up and have themes for the drinks. Drinks I have tried are good and food was good as well.DJ Scratch is the cherry on top, love the vibe.

Food was delicious!! For a starter ahi tuna nachos was a must, so flavorful and they didn't skimp on the ahi! We got a 2 entree meal, came with scallops, shrimp, garlic noodles, and fried rice. Although we asked for white rice and we got fried rice, it was still very good! Lots of flavor and sauce on everything!! Waiter was a little slow, but sweet, and told my mom she looked like a Hollywood actress! Ambiance was gorgeous, pretty small, but very elegant! Overall would definitely try again!

Rocks and Drams for dinner last night in beautiful downtown Ventura. We got lucky that someone cancelled their reservation and we got in. Lobster Mac 'n cheese, ahi poke nachos, and scallop and shrimp hibachi. Oh and the Basic Betty cocktail. It was all phenomenal. The place is super cute and very intimate. Lots of couches and chandeliers. A great way to end a full day.

Food, drinks and music were very good. Be sure to have a reservation otherwise they will kick you out or put you in the corner. We were enjoying the cocktails and food but had to leave before a certain time for a reservation they said they had. We asked if we could stay because there were open tables that a reservation could take but were told no unless we wanted to move to a table in the corner or we had to leave. A little disappointed so we left.

Had a really nice evening catching up with friends here. Drinks were good. Service was there but not overbearing. The hibachi dinner was a great hit as well as the appetizers. Great decor, it is trendy, but we still got to be intimate with our friends. So glad this place is in our neighborhood.

We had a private work event, reserved for Saturday night. We were having a great time, the staff were great really accommodating basically everything was going smoothly.Until the BROTHER of the owner suddenly became territorial, and told my coworker that he is cut off, saying that he is not allowed inside anymore. Mind you this is a private work event, no one else is inside but employees of our company. My co-worker wanted to get himself & I water so we can sober up, all of the sudden he got really aggressive to the point that he wrap his hands around my co-worker’s neck… and started CHOKING HIM!! Literally CHOKING him!!!! because he wanted to get water???After everyone gathered outside to break the scuffle he just left the scene and staff were so apologetic to us because this is apparently a recurring behavior of his. He even claimed that he is an ex-marine, if so he shouldn’t be putting hands on anyone period! That behavior is unacceptable and for that reason we’re done giving this place business.
