I always get the Chicken Walnut salad AND a cow cookie! I highly recommend the Royal Bakery.

Wonderful spot! Veggie options, breakfast, pastries, and lunch. The staff is super friendly. Veggie wrap was wonderful and they were able to exclude cheese for me ☺️
Will definitely come back when we're back in Ventura.

This bakery has excellent baked goods, including one of the best Tiramisu and fruit tarts (single and pie sized) that I ever had!
Add to that an excellent and healthy lunch menu (sooo yummie!), and to top it off, their altruistic ways that give away the daily left overs to good causes (orphanage, food banks...etc...).

Everything we’ve had is delicious! Especially love the white chocolate cheesecake and pumpkin cheesecake (seasonal).

My mom & I love this place! Always a must when visiting family in Ventura. Chicken Walnut salad & sandwich is our go to! Bakery items are amazing as well.

I don't give it 5 stars because it's expensive. Although very rich.

Fantastic chocolate, raspberry cheesecake, perfect and full of flavors. The fruit tart was good too. The cafe is perfect to get together with friends and have a good talk.

Parking: The cafe shares its parking lot with other businesses. I have never had a problem finding a space to park when I visit.

Kid-friendliness: Yes.

Terrible experience. Their pricing makes no sense for the half sandwich and soup. Their menu board says all sandwiches come with side salad. I asked if it came with it and was told yes. I guess we misunderstood each other. Why would I pay $10 for a 1/2 sandwich or $11 for a full?

My tri tip was over cooked and thick sliced. My wife's quiche was good.

When I went back after our food came, the 3 workers were totally unhelpful. They said they couldn't do anything to help me since the owner wasn't there. They did not seem to care that I was upset or offer any other solution than me paying full price for another item.

Just got a turkey sandwich from here earlier. Great sandwich! The turkey is real and slightly thicker slices. Got it on french bread which is super soft and the swiss cheese is the real deal. Got a salad with it and that's good too. Will definitely be coming back.

Amazing and cute cafe. I loved the turkey club (which had actual turkey, no sliced deli meat here). We finished with the raspberry chocolate cheesecake and pistachio cannoli, which were both delicious. The owner, Miguel, waited on us and was very kind and attentive!
