I was spending around $20/day 3-5 days/week. Only to have the owner give me attitude & not fill my mug up with coffee, because I asked for light ice? He started to complain it was too expensive to fill. This was the 2nd & last time time he gave me attitude. 1st time he snapped was when I was working on my computer, in a corner on a slow day. It was the only plug not in the main isle where people walk. He demanded I ran my cord in the walkway & said I can’t move table to eat/work because tables are for”customers”??? Food is good, the staff is friendly, owner needs to learn basic hospitality practices. Owner obviously doesn’t care, but he lost another faithful customer.

Great spot to stop along the highway. Beats the socks off of stopping for fast food on road trips. Solid egg sandwich and locks & bagels.

Surfside Café in Ventura is hands down one of my favorite spots! The staff is always extremely friendly and welcoming, which makes every visit a great experience. The coffee is absolutely delicious, and their bagels and breakfast burritos are out of this world—seriously, some of the best I’ve had anywhere.
If you’re in Ventura County and looking for a cozy spot with amazing food, great coffee, and even better vibes, I can’t recommend Surfside Café enough.

I’m in a full-on love triangle with the maple pecan breve, Matt’s blueberry muffins, and the açaí bowl… and honestly, I’m not choosing sides. 💘☕🫐🥣”

Just had my first experience at Surfer's point since the changeover last year. My order: Americano and Chorizo Burrito.
Service: Counter service was great and worked in a timely manner. They even asked if I had dietary restrictions (which I don't - I'll eat what you don't). I thought this was a thoughtful question for their guests.
The coffee is 10 times better. I live in the area and I will add this to the list for morning coffee spots.
10/10 for my burrito. Not the largest breakfast burrito but it definitely was filling after my morning swim - and for the price, TOTALLY WORTH IT. They didn't skimp on the meat and EGGS!!!!
I took my food to go, but there's plenty of seating inside and outside. The folks were listening to 80s/90s unoffensive hip-hop. I liked the ambiance. Thank you! And thanks for my under $20 breakfast!
