Kind and nice staff, delicious muffins and quality coffee.
This place is SO GOOD!
The people who work there are so kind.
Lot of delicious drinks to choose from!
I love this group they are all awesome.
Brought in a small group of seniors from an assisted living complex. Got to know Matt, the owner, great guy, sharp. Helped everyone make their lunch decision, including wine. I had their tasty everything-in-it breakfast burrito (no indigestion whatsoever despite its size). All of his workers were friendly, upbeat, and working hard. They checked in on us periodically, not rushing us, allowing us to laugh, talk, and generally have a good time. If I'm in the area, I'll be back. I told him I wanted to bring my son and his family to the restaurant when he visits from the Bay Area. The restroom was clean and organized. Give it a try and tell them Freddie's review convinced you. Lol.
Made a stop while biking around Ventura to order a coffee. Ended up buying the best breakfast burrito I’ve eaten in California. Super yum!! The location, music and chill vibe was an extra to the friendly service. Yay Surfers Point Cafe!!
Stopped in on my way up the coast. One of the best açaí bowls I have ever had. The maple pecan breve was delicious. 10/10 would recommend. A few regulars were in here while I was here, the staff remembered their names, which was such a indicator that this place builds community. I will be stopping here more often on my trips up north. Great service, great vibe, tasty offerings, friendly staff!
Great breakfast burrito. Get the works! They topped off my cold brew for free!
Work brings me out multiple times and last year I stumbled upon this place and discovered their amazing acai bowls. Needless to say, it is now the only place I have breakfast! I was nervous this past week seeing that ownership had changed but was pleasantly reassured that the new management is just as friendly and the food’s quality is just the same. Already looking forward to my next trip!

Had a decaf espresso drink and it was probably the worst coffee I ever had. I threw it away. Would not drink it even if it was free. Not sure how caffeinated espresso drinks are.
Waited 20 minutes in line then a white couple shows up behind us and they Receive There order 15 minutes before us! So if your of any color I don't recommend this place!!!! The chicken salad sandwich was super salty!!! Terrible place !!!!

Male baristas need training or recipe cards for making certain drinks. When a coffee has added flavor, you really need to do more than 1-2 pumps of syrup!
I used to be a barista and I know men tend to like black cold brews and coffees. So it seems they don't know how to make a pumpkin spice latte or sweeter drinks.
He was very accommodating but I would just prefer my iced coffee or latte to come out tasty the first time. That means I taste the flavor and not the bitter.
Haven't tried food yet. Also, they told me they were closing at 3 instead of 4, which contradicts the sign outside and the hours listed online which I just suggested an edit for. I had to leave early which was a bummer.
