Seed Ranger—The Great Vegan Food Station

Excellent vegan restaurant, sushi was great, Ramen is delicious, vegan egg is interesting. We also ordered the burgers 🍔🍟 very delicious.

Only one word describes Seed Ranger…..WOW!!! First of all, they offer ANYTHING that conventional restaurants like Applebees, Chili’s, TGI Fridays can offer, and it’s all vegan! I have had wonderful comfort food before and I’m always happy when I can find it, but this place offers over 100 different items from breakfast to “shrimp” po boy sandwiches and it’s all made to order. The cafe is in one of the most out of the way locations off Johnson Road in Ventura, and it appears that they are the last surviving restaurant in what was once a thriving food court, so make your day and satisfy your appetite at Seed Ranger. The staff was wonderful and willing to explain the various options - and there was such a large variery to choose from. We got the BBQ chicken sandwich, fries animal style, and a BLTA. The food was excellent and we will definitely be back.

We were driving through Ventura and needed good vegan food! My husband found Seed Ranger and they seemed to have something for all of us so we decided to stop by. So glad we did! Our food was amazing! I got the Golden Cali Roll! It was delicious and nice to have a sushi option that wasn’t just avo roll. That’s what my son got through! It was also delicious and they didn’t skimp on avo! Husband got the buffalo chicken sando. Also delicious! We also got some yummy candy bars that reminded me of Twix and Heath bars! Such a fun treat!

This place is incredible! The menu is HUGE, and everything we got was amazing. If you’re like us and have a hankering for several random items, this is the perfect place. We got a sushi roll (huge!), potato taquitos, a crispy shrimp taco, and French toast. 😂

Pretty dang good. In a weird location. But definitely will return.

There is such a wide variety of foods here that it’s hard to categorize this place. I’m partial to the Chicken BLT and the BBQ Chicken sandwiches. Both are served with hot seasoned fries that are also fantastic!

Three of us (1 Vegan & 2 not-yet-Vegans) visited this spot from out of town & we all tried & loved everything we each ordered! We had Huevos Rancheros, Sausage Breakfast Burrito & The Rock Lobster Sushi Roll & it was all FABULOUS! There is a wide range of menu items. Good, Helpful & Friendly customer service. Decent pricing for the portions. Inside a little strip mall with a good amount of seating.

They say that a restaurant that has too large of a menu is not a good bet. They can’t do everything well. Seed Ranger does a very good job with the posole. The tuna melt was disappointing. All I could taste was melted cheese and an occasional pickle slice.

They have a full menu. Great price for the portions. Fast and friendly. Quality is great. I love it and recommend to try it.
