I always love Sharkeys! First time at this location and loved it! Our burritos were bomb! they have a vegetable quinoa mix that's so yummy! I had them put it in my burrito and loved it!! I'll be back soon!!

We used to be diehard Sharky's fans, the Baja fish tacos were a favorite. Packed with fish, cabbage, shredded cheese and bomb white sauce. The salsa bar used to have fresh pico de gallo and pickled carrots...no more! Months ago they changed the taco topping, min cabbage, light tomatoes (tastes and look like canned tomatoes) and tasteless crumbled cheese but still packed with fish...unfortunately now the last 2 visits have been super disappointing, today we ordered 4 fish tacos, one order w a side salad and 2 drinks $38 and the portions were meager at best...thin pieces of fish in each, with barely any fillings. The shells were half full. They raised the prices which I totally understand but then to cut portions substantially not cool. Tacos places on the Ave or Oxnard - local establishments - now get our business and we eat out ALL the time!

I ordered the chicken nachos for the first time . The chicken was dry and nachos stuck to the box . I also ordered a cookie that tasted old and was very hard . Very disappointed that I tried something new because the chicken salad is great . Feel like I wasted my money .

I go to Sharky's Ventura a few times a week for a salmon taco with chips and their wonderful Avocado Quinoa salad (much of which I take home), plus organic green tea. Their food is healthy, fresh and delicious every time. The service is friendly and responsive - very good. Indoor or outdoor dining. I've taken 5 of my friends there over the past year and all were very happy --continue to go there. One said her Avocado Quinoa salad was the best salad she had had in years. I'm grateful for Sharky's. For me they "tick all the boxes."

I had a 5 star experience on a Tuesday evening. It was my first time here and I will definitely come back. The place was clean with a nice aesthetic. I was kindly greeted upon arriving. I custom made a sandwich and they were so kind to work with me on having a salmon sandwich in place of the chicken. It was a fantastic pescatarian alternative to the meat. It was so delicious! There’s plenty of seating inside and outside.Vegetarian options: You can customize to fit a vegetarian or pescatarian diet.
I usually love Sharky's but I was disappointed in the service and food at this location. I dropped in after work and placed an order. I was the only one waiting for a to go order. My order took a REALLY long time. When they finally called my name, the two standing at the to go area wouldn't look up at me or acknowledge me when I picked up my order and I said thank you. When I got home and we ate our food, it was cold and the food didn't taste as fresh as I am used to from Sharkey's. I won't be going back to the location on Telephone road. Money not well spent, not to mention I added a tip for take out! Not worth your money here.

I tried Sharkey's, not knowing what to expect. I had a grilled salmon burrito and was pleasantly surprised the burrito was filled with a grilled salmon steak that was not over or undercooked. There were fresh veggies in the burrito and all was wrapped in fresh wheat tortilla. It was a great choice for "clean eating." The chips were very good and the salsa bar was clean and well stocked with a delicious variety of salsas. Prices were reasonable, indoor and outdoor patio seating with a cozy atmosphere completed the dining experience. I'll be back for sure.

Updated review: I don't know whats changed at this location, but the salmon the last couple times has been terrible. Both times it has tasted funky or old and has had black smudging on it like the grill is dirty. Very disappointing as they were always so consistent with this dish for me. Haven't had the chicken so im still hopeful that not all is lost.
