I was with friends and stopped by for something to eat.
Snapper Jack's has delicious food, generous portions and an awesome salsa & sauce bar!
it had been years since i ate here so i decided to stop by since i was in town. i asked the girl at the register which one was the salad with chicken & crispy tortilla chips. She seemed like she wasn't knowledgable of the menu since she looked confused but she said that it was the garden salad so that's what i ordered. I take it to go & come to find out there's no chicken in my salad.... kind of disappointing since i was looking forward to having a chicken salad today.... please make sure ur cashiers are knowledgeable of what is & isn't on the menu. it was pretty disappointing to see that when i arrived home.
The atmosphere brought me to complete beach vibes with the taste of beachside tacos. The sauce complimented the tacos exquisitely.
Yum! Get all the salsa from the salsa bar. Good horchata, great burritos. Must get the cinnamon chips, my father in law loves them and you will too.
Ordered fish tacos the guy didn't ask crispy or soft shell he gave us all three plates soft shell tacos I didn't like them at all, I am mad

The best salsa bar! We like the cancun burger and snapper jack taco combo plates. Always give you generous amount of chips and can dine in or take out easily. Local restaurant that exemplifies our surf city & neighborly vibes.
Kid-friendliness: Great place to bring the kids. They can eat and make noise. Good for after AYSO soccer games!

I ordered online(to-go) from the parking lot(there is plenty of parking), and got it to go. I got 2 battered fish tacos, and it came with a bag of chips and 2 options for salsa/sauces(I chose the shack sauce( its not anything special or sectet, it's just baja sauce.)
The good: Service was good, friendly, and fast, and the place was clean. The salsa/sauce bar was stocked with loads of options. They make their chips in house and they were great(I only ate a couple was trying to save room for tacos).
I also used their bathroom and it was very clean.
The bad: I'm not sure what everyone else gets, but I got old, dry pieces of fish on my tacos. I went to a park a few blocks away to eat and there wasn't reason for "fresh" food to taste like this. The cheese was all clumped together and wasn't appetizing(no need for cheese on fish tacos). There is no way what I was served has ever won a single award.
All in all, it's fairly inexpensive and the chips and salsa are good, but I won't be back.

Horrible customer service.
Favorite family owned taco shop in Cali. The salsa bar is what makes it the best. Great military discount, too. Enchiladas are the best.
Kid-friendliness: They have some game machines to keep little people happy.
