Great restaurant, but was a bit of a sketchy atmosphere given some of the unusual people hanging around. Made sure I kept my computer bag close at hand.

Hey, I'm confused on some of the reviews for this location going back to the summer. As I recall, this was recently constructed, and only opened within the past month or so. Thus, the reviews from June/July seem to be for a different store??In any event, Dear Hubby and I spent a really delightful afternoon and early evening in Ventura on Saturday. The weather was absolutely perfect - warm, but not hot. No wind, and we were happy to escape the Santa Anas further inland. We started out walking around downtown, checking out various stores and having a fabulous cupcake at Peirano's. Then on to Harbor Village for an early dinner and a stroll around the waterfront. We proceeded to check out the new Starbucks to finish a promotion with a Frappuccino order. We wanted to see what this new location was like. The best way to enter is to come from the northwest, heading toward the 101 on Main Street. Turn right on Mills Road and go past the gas station, then enter to the left. Since traffic can be intense on Main Street, it's easier to enter that way than to try to find the correct driveway directly off Main Street through the gas station. Negotiating the drive-thru lane feels a little bit like the roadways on the Autopia in Disneyland, as they designed a winding track to hold more cars in a tiny overall lot. The landscaping in between the lane and modern-architecture building is interesting to see while you wait for your order to be made. It's newly planted, but should fill in quickly. The gentleman taking the orders and then interacting with us to serve our beverages was very pleasant and professional, with a friendly demeanor. We didn't go inside, but I could see in through the window that they have a throwback exposed ceiling beams design. One day when we have more time, we'll have to actually go inside. The Frappuccino was made exactly as I'd ordered. Thumbs up for that from a newer location that's probably still in a bit of a shakedown cruise mode.Exiting back to Main Street can be tricky, as cars heading to the northbound onramp to the 101 may be streaking by rapidly. You can return to Mills Road and use the light to cross Main Street going north, or turn left to head toward downtown Ventura. If you're going north, it's definitely freeway-adjacent / convenient.

I always give fat tips at Starbucks but after today’s experience, I’m not giving no more tips. It is ridiculous to waited 10 minutes at the speaker and they were just laughing when I keep asking if I can order yet they keep telling me to wait wait wait once I got it up to the window. He had me wait wait and wait they know what they were doing. They did that on purpose. It took 25 mins for me to get my daughters drink before I pick her up from work and they also made me late to pick her up thanks a lot..It’s not my fault you don’t like your job I highly recommend no one to come here.We should be able to rate no stars !!!

I came in today and placed a mobile order for a venti mocha cookie crumble frappuchino and a cream cheese pumpkin muffin. The employees are always very nice and welcoming. I've ever come in for mobile orders but it would be a nice spot to study. This location also has a drive tru and is very convenient being right next to the freeway!
