This. Food. is. amazing.
Great taco stand. The asada and pastor are first rate.
Second time I got tacos from here, it got me really sick. I live right down the street and one time I was leaving my house right when they were setting up. Their Al pastor skewer had older cooked meat on the bottom and new, uncooked meat sitting on top and they had it sitting on the ground. Right at that moment, I knew why it made me sick last time and I will never trust that stand again.
Literally the best tacos I’ve ever had, just had their suadero, asada, and Al pastor, absolutely delicious
Do not dump your grease in the gutter!!

Authentic Mexican street taco stand!! Feels like I just pulled off the road in Ensenada Mexico. Great tacos cost about $2 each!! Carne Asada is cooked on a barbeque pit in front of you. The Pastor is cut from a slowly rotating spit with a pineapple on top and is delicious. Also have chorizo, lengua and barbacoa and probably anything else you want. Only open at night on the corner of N.Ventura Ave and Shell road.
I will see you tomorrow night for dinner
You can drive down the Avenue and have a numerous amount of places to stop and get some delicious food..I think they have the closest to authentic mexican food/tacos then anywhere in Ventura. Depends what you're in the mood for..Tacos, Tortas, Relleno Burritos, you name it, they have it.
It is home to this Ventuckeyin, enjoy the beach and the weather all year long. The good life.
