Super friendly, great service, and delicious. Beef and potato empenadas are so good i could eat ten of them, and the guava cheese pastries are decadent...coffee's good too.

We were looking for a coffee recharge and found this gem. The coffee is perfect, just what we needed.
Also saw that they had some empanadas. Grabbed two and ended up going back for 4 more! Unbelievably delicious.
Definitely check this place out if you’re in the area.

By far the best cup of coffee I've had since I worked a job in Vermont a few years back. I got the dark chocolate lavendar mocha iced, and it was the perfect marriage between the floral notes of the beans and the light earthiness of the dark chocolate. The lavendar bridged the gap, making for the perfect balance of flavors to highlight the coffee itself, not cover it up. You can absolutely taste the dedication to the bean that these folks have. They know their stuff.
And the FOOD. Potato, cheese and bacon empanada was authentic, perfectly spiced and served with two different dipping sauces even though they do not need condiments. The green sauce (a jalapeño crema of some kind, again, perfectly balanced) is extremely light and flavorful. The red sauce is smokier in profile (chipotle-esque, and mild), but just as light, and compliments the smokiness of the bacon in the empanada. The Cuban guava cheese pastry also took me back to my favorite late-night fix from Florida. It was emotional (don't judge, good food does that to the best of us).
They have art from local artists for sale and viewing all over the shop, including jewelry, as well. One of the local artists seems to be a regular and was seated at the table next to us, contentedly existing without being bothered. This is an artist's dream spot.
PLEASE go support these folks.

I love this little coffee shop! And they serve/sell the best coffee on the planet - Santa Barbara Roasters Espresso blend. Next time I visit, I will have to get the empanadas.

The owners were there working and they are the nicest people! Took such a genuine interest in us, and make a very good cup of coffee. I can’t promote this business enough and will definitely be coming back here for my coffee each time I’m in Ventura.

had a black coffee and a beef empanada. that empanada was something else... great flavor from the filling, and the dough, my goodness. flaky, flavorful, buttery. my mother makes empanadas that have more of a crumbly bready texture... good but I prefer this hands down.vibe is great. low key, unpretentious, very welcoming, familial.I plan to try the other empanadas and the pastelitos over time.

5/5. Guava pastry is insanely good. The empanadas are made from scratch and they remind me of my mom’s from when I was a kid. The coffee was refreshing. If you’re reading this and you’re still wondering if you should come by and try this place then you’re wasting your time and should just come by already. Before I eat all of their empanadas myself.

Breakfast here was a highlight of our time in Ventura. We each had a breakfast bagel sandwich with chimichurri and aji. They were so flavorful and wonderfully filling for a day of hiking. We also split two empanadas which were divine. The owners were so friendly and we loved looking at the local art on the walls. I truly wish I could transport this cafe back home.
Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly, they had a high chair and even offered to steam my son’s milk

Wish I could give it 6 stars! The cafe just so comfortable to be in, with the cushy chairs and pleasing decor. My iced caramel was delicious, as was the empanada, which tasted fresh and flavorful. I usually don’t write reviews, but this place was such a standout and Tatiana was so nice and welcoming that I felt sincerest gratitude towards them.
