Popped by on our way to the wild flowers. Tatiana is lovely, coffees were great, and I found a piece of art by a local artist (and customer) to bring home with me. Empanadas were delicious, too! This will be on our list of stops any time we are down this way! Thanks, Tatiana!

Amazing coffee and pastries!! The dirty chai latte is so delicious and not too sweet. Has the right amount of spice. And they offer regular mugs if you are having it there, such a nice touch. The empanadas are flaky and the filling is just delicious. Highly recommend this coffee shop and cafe

Let me just say that this place was indeed a hidden gem. You walk in and the space is just the right kind of cozy with local art on the walls, a book shelf, and mismatched chairs hugging neat little friendship nurturing tables. The old guy at the counter greets you the old fashioned way, i.e. with a smile and a kind spirit. He takes the time to explain the menu items and helps you make a great choice. I cannot imagine that there are any not so great choices in a place where the menu items hail from culinary cultures such as Cuba, Argentina and Puerto Rico. I highly recommend the empanadas. Or just grab a coffee and a book and sit for a while.

I love empanadas. It was the perfect breakfast for me. The empanada was DELICIOUS! I got a beef one and it paired with the two sauces given perfectly. Their coffee is very well made as well. I didn't experience any burnt tastes as I have at other nearby places. I appreciate that :). I think it's very cute how the service makes you feel like a routine customer. The second they got my name down, they remembered it as if I was a usual there. On my way out, they said "see you sydney! thank you for coming!" after i had sat and ate for a bit. It's a cute place. If it's not out of your way on your commute, it's a good place to stop before work. Overall, my experience felt cozy. It's a great place to start the day. Thank you!

Nice mom and pop place, leave your Starbucks mug at home! They have a great variety of drinks and pastries. They also have some empanadas with different fillings. I think the service was exceptional, very cheerful in the morning making you feel at home. The place was very quiet and seemed relaxing. On the sensory level a solid 3 for the lights, will definitely be coming back!

My wife and I chose this place because of the reviews. We were driving through Ventura on a Saturday morning and it was very quiet in the downtown area. The furnishings were simple. But what made this place was the owner. Tatiana was warm and friendly...just the type of person you look forward to starting your day. We noticed she was this way with everyone. The coffee and empanada were hot and delicious. Music in the background playing also gave the experience color. Highly recommend Tatiana's!

5/5. Guava pastry is insanely good. The empanadas are made from scratch and they remind me of my mom’s from when I was a kid. The coffee was refreshing. If you’re reading this and you’re still wondering if you should come by and try this place then you’re wasting your time and should just come by already. Before I eat all of their empanadas myself.

Breakfast here was a highlight of our time in Ventura. We each had a breakfast bagel sandwich with chimichurri and aji. They were so flavorful and wonderfully filling for a day of hiking. We also split two empanadas which were divine. The owners were so friendly and we loved looking at the local art on the walls. I truly wish I could transport this cafe back home.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly, they had a high chair and even offered to steam my son’s milk

The owner was really friendly and there's lots of cool affordable art ($50-200!) to look at as you wait. No one was in line when we arrived which was baffling because everything was so good. Their chai latte is phenomenal and their coffee is great too. The guava pastelito is one of the best pastries I've ever had. I could have eaten half a dozen just on my own. Get one!
