Easily the best Thai food in the 805!

Although the dining room is very limited in space, the food is great and much less expensive than other thai restaurants within the vicinity! The hostesses are friendly. I recommend 👌 👏 👍

Honestly I wish I lived here so I could go here more! The food was so flavorful! It is family owned and you can tell they love what they are doing! Great atmosphere! If you are a bigger group call before and see if you can reserve a table. Dishes are big enough to share for sure :)

Pad Thai was phenomenal! Amazing customer service and very clean. A local recommended this restaurant and we will be coming back, definitely worth the hour drive. By far the best Thai food I’ve had!!!

Small hole-in-the-wall. Very good food. Good taste and fresh. I had the pad see ew with beef. The beef was fresh and tender without that soda taste. Friend had the Tom Yum. Authentic taste without being too salty. A+ Service.
And the mango sticky rice was yummy too~
P.S. We didn't try the beer, but they've got some interesting flavors.

My friend and I tried Thai fire for the first time last night. I worked as a private chef for decades and Thai food is my specialty so I'm usually disappointed when I go out for Thai food. Thai fire is bomb! I had the Pad Thai with fried tofu and vegetables. It was so delicious and beautifully presented and the vegetables were very fresh. My friend had the cashew pork which was also very flavorful and delicious. The portions were quite large so we both had leftovers to take home which is always fun late night snackin! Our server Nat was warm and welcoming and very attentive. I appreciate great service so much because I was also a server and a bartender for many years as well. I really like the nice touches of serving water in Copper cups and Thai iced tea in giant glass mugs. I think plastic cups are so tacky and gross. I deducted a couple of points from atmosphere mostly because the lighting is Harsh and unpleasant. I'm also not a fan of low tables (I have long legs) or metal chairs. But otherwise it's cute. I will definitely be ordering from them again either in person or online. I highly recommend this place 💜⚛🕉

Restaurantji Recommends
Looked online for restaurants on Taco Row and most were closed. So we continued to stroll and found Thai fire instead.
OMG! The best Tom Kha noodle soup in all of California, and most likely outside of Thailand
Everything is fresh
The service is fantastic and if I lived in Ventura, I would go every week to this place
I can’t recommend this place enough
There are Three different spice accompaniments to add to your order
Each one is homemade by the chef. I added the spice mix with Galangal to the Tom Kha noodle soup. (not that you have to add anything) This will take you to a new culinary height not previously experienced
Added the chili flake and oil to the Panang curry
The portions are huge!
Finished the Panang curry today. It was excellent yesterday, but today? New culinary heights.
So if you are strolling around and looking for tacos, I hope you find Thai fire instead. You will miss out if you don’t try this place if you’re just passing through Ventura.

My toddler and I shared a chicken pad Thai here and it was INCREDIBLE. Easily the tastiest pad Thai in the entire city of Ventura. (We eat a lot of pad Thai...) It's a sweet, family run restaurant with a great vibe inside. What a lovely experience. We will be back for sure. This is our new go-to spot.

I love Thai food but am very selective about where I order my pad Thai. This is the first time I’ve ordered pad Thai that actually tastes like it did in Thailand, absolutely delicious. We ordered the combo fried rice, pad Thai and tom yom soup (also hard to find a good tom yom). All of it was so good. You should know the portions here are very large so be prepared to share or have leftovers the next day.
This is now my new favorite Thai place. I’ll definitely be stopping by Thai Fire when I visit Ventura.

My girlfriend and I came here about a week ago and had a great experience. I’m a very picky eater but was really happy with their Chow Mein and Pad Thai. For dessert we were hoping for some Mango fried rice, but unfortunately the mango’s weren’t ripe which is understandable. The owner recommended this fried banana desert that I can’t remember the name of which was delicious and reminded us of funnel cake. On our way out the door the owner introduced himself to us and even shook our hands. We really enjoyed the experience and will most likely be back again! On a final note our leftovers were still pretty tasty after being reheated which I feel is pretty rare for most food!
