The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf

I am not a huge fan of the dark bitter coffee at Starbucks and I also really enjoy tea! This place is perfect for something different. Drinks and pastries are yummy!

Coffee Bean in Ventura is the best. They should have 4.8 stars. The customer service is amazing. Connie the Manager is terrific. She says hello when you walk in the door. She makes you feel so comfortable.

I met a colleague there this afternoon and we each enjoyed an afternoon pick-me-up but the icing on the cake? I left behind a very nice water bottle and hours later realized and returned to inquire (expecting that it had been stolen or claimed - it’s super nice!). But they had it bagged and labeled in case I came back. So impressed by the organization and integrity!

the staff here is so friendly that it has compelled me to leave my first ever google review. and the coffee is always excellent.

Thursday February 6th, my mom and I passed by for some drinks on the way out of town before 8am. There were two batista on staff taking care of at least 15-20 mobile order drinks(i asked), plus at least 5 people inside ordering along with myself. They were inundated with orders and we all felt so badly for them but they were chugging along and taking care of business. They deserve commendation for keeping their cool and giving great customer service with their full plates. Our drinks were perfect to top ot off 💙 management needs to get it together, I'd imagine minimum 3 staff members at a time would be necessary.

i came in at 6:02 AM just because my app wasn’t working. there was 2 people working at the time and they did not once acknowledge me. they stared at me standing in line and continued to ignore me , i waited an extra 3 minutes or so and they still continued to stare at me. i was so embarrassed and having to walk out because they were just not worth my service anymore but , when getting back into the car they took another lady’s order with no issue they also great her with kindness. this was on 2/8/2025 at 6:02 AM, i hope they have the day they deserved
