Visited from out of town for a wedding and loved it! We came Sunday morning, no wait and our waiter was amazing. Very attentive and thoughtful. We would definitely come again!

My mocha was cold. The person that brought the food accidentally set it down where the poached egg fell all over the table and my husbands glasses. He offered to get a new egg but left the table completely covered in egg. I was offered with my meal a pancake for a 3 upgrade as a side but was not told it had a sauce on it. When the guy with blonde hair brought it over and I said oh I didn’t know it would have something on top. He rudely said well it says it on the menu. I never looked at pancakes on the menu because I was offered it as an upgrade with my meal. I thought the owner must not be in due to the poor service ,but as I asked upon leaving they said she’s standing over there talking with people at the bar. Definitely not a way to get your restaurant successful! First time here, won’t return.

I went on a rainy day it was a party of six. We were told the wait was 45 minutes long we waited for over an hour and fifteen minutes. The hostess kept by passing our party and sitting other parties. I politely asked how much longer then a manager comes apologizes for the wait per the manager drinks were in the house. Food was mid nothing out of this world. The server was a sweetheart but when the bill came none of the drinks were in the house. Mind you we order one coke, one lemonade and three expressos no alcohol. The server came back and shared only the first round was in the house. I was over it I didn't want to argue. I didn’t go to Little Lion to get free drinks or freeze outside for over an hour I went for their food but was disappointed. I will never go to back to Little Lion so disappointed.

Cutest little brunch bar in town and girly owned! Fresh vibes, endless mimosas and their goat cheese balls :)

I was really looking forward to trying this restaurant since i live so close, but unfortunately, my visit was very disappointing. There was essentially no service to speak of no greeting, no host, no check-ins, and it felt as though the staff were indifferent to guests being there at all.
The food, while presented decently, showed no creativity or nuance. Every dish felt flat and uninspired, lacking the attention to flavor or detail you’d expect from a place that presents itself as refined.
Atmosphere is boring but atleast it was clean, apart from the food stuck on the chair.
Overall, it was an unpleasant experience from start to finish. With better more diverse service and a touch of imagination in the menu, this place might have potential but as it stands, I wouldn’t recommend it.

Where is the plus to add to a 5 stars rating? Food was soooo good too. Highly recommend, perfect for a family brunch or out with friends night. They also have a Wine night and a montly “Drag me to Dinner.”

My mom and I came in around 3:30 on a Saturday, and we just wanted a little coffee and maybe some dessert. Unfortunately, dessert is not something that the Little lion does. The lovely bartender, Jocelyn, offered to make us some fresh strawberries and cream and we just thought that was just so lovely and kind of her that we said yes. Kudos to her and this restaurant For being such a creative problem solver. And she made us each a delicious cappuccino.

First time trying this little spot. The food was tasty, staff was friendly and polite. The vibe was nice. The service was a bit slow, but overall it was a very pleasant experience. We will be back. Lots of parking, no wait and no reservations.

A great place to eat brunch! I ordered the Florentine smoked salmon Florentine and it was soooo delicious! The flavors were perfect! My other 2 friends were very satisfied because their food was delicious as well! Definitely a place to eat!

Slow, expensive, and good but somewhat run of the mill food. For some areas this would be a hit, but with so many choices in the Ventura area it's not high on our list. Danny's, Allison's, and Two Trees are less than a mile away. Oh, and we come to eat, not see drag shows or political statements.

Pass.

Great atmosphere, prompt and friendly severs! The food was good, but not exceptional. Loved the mimosa flight with several unique juice options. A solid and much needed new brunch addition to Ventura!
