My husband and I go here all the time. Last night however, was our last! We experienced a very scary and disturbing experience as we saw a group of girls being escorted out because one them was a minor. As we waited to get in we hear a security offer to let the minor in ILLEGALLY if they paid $40. What kind of place does this, I fear for the safety of our children. On top of that, they harassed the poor girls outside, two grown big men cursing at young women, flipping them off and bring up racist words like “wetbacks” and “I will deport you and your family.” I could not believe my ears as these securities harassed them for sitting on a bench outside after being kicked out. We could tell the girls were scared and tried to speak up but the security men continue to disrespect them and treat them like trash. The Saloon, you need to be investigated for offering illegal ways for minors to come in your place, and racist comments? Come on this is unacceptable.

Wow!! This place is legit. Brenda h was our gal. She was awesome !! Super helpful and kind. Our drinks were amazing and the atmosphere was very cool. Keep up the good work.
My family comes here regularly after a beach day. This weekend was the last time we will be coming here. We had come in with two toddlers and went to the very back where there was no one else sitting. The kids were enjoying the open space they had in the back dancing around. The waitress was very kind and said not to worry. She said she was glad someone was enjoying the open space. We were enjoying our meal keeping an eye on the kids when one of the bartenders very rudely told us to contain our kids that this wasn’t a playground. It totally dimmed the mood and made us ask for the check and leave before we could even finish our meal. I understand kids are difficult to deal with in this society that sees them as a nuisance. It wasn’t the fact that he said something but it was more his tone and rudeness.

My FAV place in Ventura for drinks and good vibes. Super chill, excellent cocktails and awesome food. My all time fav is Think Beautiful Thoughts mezcal cocktail, Fried Chi’n Vegan bao and fries. It’s my go to order with lots of left overs to enjoy all over again tomorrow. Plus I love that my dog is welcome too.

The skinny bartender with black long hair was very rude and unprofessional! My friend and I were waiting for a good minute in line to use the restroom and I did not see anyone come and rush the people using it. All of a sudden it’s a problem when we are in the restroom. This lady comes banging on the door like a maniac telling us to get out. I’m not sure if she has anger issues but it’s never that serious. If you can’t handle that type of job and environment then look for a different occupation. Very childish and immature of her.
