If a decision was made, it could be pretty great, but it feels like someone is trying to make us believe that a grungy dive bar is a super hip L.A. club. It's not. The sound with a live band, though, is really good. I'm sure with a dj it's pretty great. As far as service... just took forever, and it wasn't that busy. The bartenders were in absolutely no hurry and seemed to spend more time chatting amongst themselves than pouring drinks. Overall, I may go back if a group is going for an event, but it would need to be something real good.

some bands were great but this box in the middle of room makes it very uninviting for others not sitting in the “box”, makes it very difficult to see/ enjoy the band. Needs to open up so everyone feels welcome and comfortable part of the music etc. maybe that is why I rarely come in.Get the box out!
Went in for a beer and to play some pool. First issue is that one ipa (extremely over carbonated might i add) was $10. Service was lacking, atmosphere was just dreary, i felt uncomfortable. Our table had food chunks on it and was sticky. And just to add the cherry on top the pool table sucked. I would not recommend this spot to anyone.

My friends had their wedding reception here and we had a great time. Watched a drag show here the next day. Check with them for times and dates. Had a lot of fun!

Most live music venues get a thumbs up from me. I was in for a Wicked Wednesday with up and coming punk and metal acts. Good bar style food. Very cool servers. I'd go to shows or play a gig here no question.

Great food and service, loved the decor!
We had the best time here! The food and drinks were amazing. Our waitress was Ava and she was so sweet and fun! The whole staff seems to be on their game and having fun doing it. Makes for a great atmosphere. We will be back!
We were invited in by the DJ (Club Ibiza) and we had an awesome time at The Six. The bartender was great, the atmosphere was fun, and the music was bumping! I look forward to stopping by again soon! Thanks for a fun night!
Couple of suggestions: 1) If customers needs to scan a code to get a menu, the hostess should tell us when seating us. 2) In an establishment with only 4 occupied tables, I shouldn't wait 15 minutes for iced tea and then 10 minutes for sweetener (which actually never came since we dropped money on the table for the iced teas before giving up and walking out). 3) If you need to order alcohol to get service, post a sign with a drink minimum. The lack of service makes me very sad as the food looked delicious. Should I be asked, I'll be sure to mention the service we received.
The ambiance of the place is very hollywood vibe. This place looks like where D-List Reality Show "stars" film for streaming services no one subscribes to. Very date night feel seeing as the Friday night crowd was mostly couples. We came as 2 families with kids and they were accomodated without pause. Our waitstaff was extremely helpful and friendly. Our main waiter, Colin, went above and beyond our expectations. I suspect that he may be severely underpaid and definitely deserves a raise and/or a promotion so that he may continue his service without the unnecessary stresses of making rent and paying bills. Please see to it that Colin, and other deserving waitstaff and employees are compensated, overcompensated even, for their excellent attention to detail and courteous nature without question.
Kid-friendliness: Colin and waitstaff are very good with children. Makes me wonder if they hold dayjobs at grade schools or daycares.

The fried macaroni & cheese fritters were crunchy and delicious, the glazed short rib tacos were like a party in your mouth. The meat was sweet, toppings were savory and the jalapeños were spicy hot. Eehah!! The Buffalo wings were just okay...nothing special. About $16 per dish. The beer was all priced $1 higher than listed in the on-line menu.

We didn’t stay. We didn’t order alcohol so we didn’t get service. It was 1 pm. We ordered iced tea. We walked out after waiting for sweetner. If you don’t drink alcohol don’t go here. It’s a waste of time. Waiting over a half hour to get tea is unreasonable.
I went here with a friend of mine to watch the UFC fight. Plenty of room to sit and watch the fight. Next time I'll try the food.

Couldn't even get one song on the queue. Worst excuse of a bar on Main Street. Service was garbage, couldn't get one drink. Avoid if you can.
We had a pretty underwhelming experience at The Six Chow House (now I think they're calling it the Social House). We were really excited to try it out but from the moment we walked in things were very "off". We came here for a 6:30pm dinner reservation but upon arrival it felt like it wasn't even open yet. All of the industrial bright lights were turned on, there was a ladder set up in the middle of the room, the musician for the night was doing sound checks, and the staff seemed confused as to what they should be doing and most of them were standing around almost like their shifts hadn't started yet (they weren't doing anything wrong, but they were clearly overstaffed). It felt like we arrived at a party too early while the host was still setting up. There were only two other parties seated. We ended up being seated and our waitress was great. Very attentive and answered all our questions. We ordered our drinks and appetizers and started talking, and then the music started at 7pm. The musician was great, but it was so loud and definitely not what you'd expect to have playing in a restaurant type setting where you're trying to have dinner and conversation. The four of us had to huddle in a corner of our booth to talk and be able to hear each other. The drinks were great and the food was pretty good. Nothing too special but better than I'd expect from most places like this.I think the main thing was this place has no idea what they want to be yet. Are they a down restaurant? A night club? Live music joint? Or sports bar? It made for a somewhat awkward dinner and a lot of confusion about what the Six Chow House is trying to be.I'd give it a second chance but not anytime soon. I will wait until they are better established and have decided what audience they are trying to cater to.
