Great spot, minutes from the beach! They have an Amazing extensive menu! An easy walk from the Ventura Beach hotel! They even accommodated the vegetarian with several vegetarian rolls options! The tempura vegetable roll was the best. They also serve beer and wine. My Sauvignon Blanc paired perfectly with the heat of the wasabi! They have several options of Japanese beer! We also got the shishito peppers, edamame and the avocado bombs were a hit! I will absolutely be back the next time we are in town!Vegetarian options: There are several options to choose from! Veggie roll, veggie tempura roll, avocado roll!Kid-friendliness: I would bring my kids here!

Ordered an jalapeño roll & 2 crunchy rolls and a lion roll and miso soup. The soup had no tofu or seaweed just plain water. Was given everything but the jalapeño roll and when we called they even gave us attitude and demanded a picture of the food. Like why would I lie over something I paid for, or call to make it up. There were very rude and would never go back to this place again.

We got Firecracker roll, ninja vs samurai & dragon roll and the fan favorite the avocado bomb. This restaurant is on a street 30 seconds from the beach and is the essence of Ventura, not fancy but good food and vibes, small, locals and tourists from renting the surrounding beach houses will be your fellow patrons. Dress code is beach casual and sand on your feet. Will be crowded during peak times just because of capacity but off hours you might be the only one there.
