We were so lucky to be at Transmission Brewery at the same time Dave England from Jackass was there. My daughter and I had the honor of meeting him. We are big fans of the Jackass Movies and Transmission Brewery. It looked like he really enjoyed his beer of choice and got one to go. Thanks Transmission ???? and Dave for all the great movies. Made our day!

The building and upper level beer garden glass box viewing platform (not sure what to call it) is worth the trip alone. This place was very fun to explore and experience. We’d recommend it for sure. The beer tastings we had were good. It’s connected to a pizza restaurant for easy access to food. The pizza was good and the salad bar was top notch. You have to come here just to check out the viewing platform if anything and take in the view.

One of the best views while drinking some awesome beer for a great price! They have plenty of parking spots (unless it’s a football Sunday ?). You can order some delicious food at Toppers pizza and have it bring upstairs to Transmission brewery. This place welcomes all kinds of dogs ? We love it here. Next time we’re bringing our furry friend with us!

We love this place!! A must stop when we are in Ventura. The beer selection is amazing and the view....incredible! Dogs are allowed which is a plus for us. Having Topper Pizza right next door and deliver to your table is so perfect. Can't say enough great things about this place

Grab food from the adjoining Topper's Pizza and then settle down to a pint or two. Friendly staff and atmosphere. This is my go to spot when in Ventura.

Fun place to hang out with friends! My husband loves their beer and his favorite beer is their transmission light. I love their orange creamsicle slushy drink. My friend didn't like it, because she thought it was too strong, but I didn't think so. It might also have to do with the fact that it comes out of a slushy machine, so the mix might be a little different each time. Service was fast and good. I would love to go back again soon. Plus you can also grab a couple of drinks and go next door to Toppers for some pizza!

Be aware that the upstairs room with a view doesn't open until 5PM (after sunset) and is for over 21 only. Beer and pizza is fine

The service here is AMAZING!!! I’m from southern Louisiana where southern hospitality rules all. The bartender Nick was phenomenal, I normally drink light beer and told him I wanted something fruity, he curated a flight of their fruitiest beers & delivered. He was attentive & held great conversation. I recommend this place 10 out of 10!!!

Really enjoyed this brewery! It's huge, didn't spend any time inside, but the upper deck has beautiful views. Tried the Oktoberfest and one of the seltzers and both were good. The only downside was that it gets a little chilly at night and they could use some heaters beyond the fire pit that is in one corner.

8 stars. I've been there a few times and had a great time each time. We won a bid on a tour, beer, and lunch of Transmission that they had generously donated to a local charity. The beer and 'the front of the house' at Transmission is wonderful. The tour and beer that was given of 'the back of the house' at Transmission was off the chart. Carey the BrewMaster was knowledgeable, patient, and gracious. We are Transmission fans and will return for the GREAT beers and PRO people.Go Transmission!!!

This incredible brewery serves up a great selection of premium beers made on premises. The seating and ambience is fabulous...sharing space with Toppers Pizza. It is 100% dog friendly, even inside. The parking is minimal. All and all this seems like a pretty great establishment, marred by one glaring observation. The manager did his absolute best to make our large party feel unwelcome and in fact made us downright uncomfortable. This joint would get 5+ stars if it weren't for the weakest link. We think, if the manager chose a career outside the hospitality field, this 'could' be an over the top "go-to" place for beer, conversation and frivolity.
