Let me tell you this place was bad, the food was not good. The service was bad, the soda from a can it was bad flat like old cans. This is the worst Mexican restaurant. I have been no bueno don’t spend your money there honestly. When you see an empty restaurant just walk away.

I went here late at night because for some reason these “authentic” Mexican restaurants around us had no Birria Tacos at all. btw the server was very friendly and I will be back in the near future!

Came during lunch hour. Food was awful. Wait was nice but kept forgetting things. Long wait for poor quality.
Every Thursday salsa dancing! Bring all your salseros. Enjoy great cocktails and appetizers!
Been here years ago with my girlfriend just for a couple of drinks, the owners were very nice and the music was decent. Went Back tonight there was a comedy show which was good I asked the owner what was good to eat I had the wet burrito with beef, the portion size was more then I expected and was delicious. I would definitely eat here again.

Great local restaurant with even better service!
Delicious food. Nice staff who very attentive and treat us like family. Great entertainment on most nights -- Salsa on Thursdays and Country dancing on Saturdays with a DJ or a good band. Vaquero is a favorite restaurant of ours.❤️
This was my first time going to this restaurant. It is quite a ways from where I live. It was my friend Sylvia's suggestion. There was a County band playing that was supposed to be very good. It seemed to be quite popular for the locals who enjoy listening and dancing to country music. The food was good and reasonably priced. Strongly recommend when a Country band plays to get there early. Parking is limited.
Not good. This is lazy, everything-out-of-a-can / reheated-frozen cooking. Not that I would expect great Mexican food in Ventura, but this was incredibly disappointing.
I'm really disappointed with my recent experience here. The restaurant announced a contest for their event, and I spent time getting ready and made a special trip just to participate. But when I arrived, they told me they were canceling it because they “didn't have enough contestants.” If they weren't going to follow through, they shouldn't have announced it in the first place. It felt like a complete waste of time. To make matters worse, the stress of the whole order actually made me feel sick afterwards. If you're going to promote something, make sure you can deliver – it's only fair to your customers. I won't be coming back.
