VenTiki Tiki Lounge and Lanai

I love ventiki. I've been frequenting for years. I came September 14th for my birthday and it was AMAZING, omg. The bartender. The waitress. Perfection. The best birthday i could ask for and it made me want to come back even more.

So I came back today. October 17th. The waitress wasnt great. She refused multiple cards. There was 4. Thats semi fine. But she lost almost 100$ + tip in just one person alone because he always gets a lot but he only got one bc thats all I could afford. So we all lost out because of that. Which is really sucky but not terrible.

For the drinks, most people would be happy they were REALLLY strong. Im not a drinker, so it was super strong and not really that good. The bartender did remake it ♡♡♡ but she was not happy about it. Which I'm sorry about on her end.

My best advice, because I love ventiki, go Sundays. The waitress is amazing. Idk if the same bartender will be there as sept 14th, but thats okay bc the waitress is a godsend.

Ventiki is my home bar. I go here as much as possible and have met many, many friends here. It’s very popular so it’s often crowded and noisy, but it’s all part of the atmosphere and fun.

The drinks are expertly crafted but some of the best and friendliest bartenders I’ve met and the food is killer. I don’t think I’ve had anything I didn’t love.

My friends and I ordered several dishes and one of our plates never arrived but was still added to the bill. I politely asked our server to remove that plate from our bill. To my surprise, she informed me that because she had already processed our card payment, she couldn't remove the item or refund me. She claimed that only a manager knew how to issue refunds, but unfortunately, there wasn't one on staff at the time.
Frustrated, I left the restaurant with the intention of calling back when a manager was available to resolve the issue. However, each time I contact the restaurant, I’m told that no manager is present, which seems quite suspicious.
Despite my repeated attempts, I have yet to receive my refund for the item we never received. My money has been unjustly kept. This situation is akin to stealing, and I cannot recommend this restaurant to others while they continue to keep my money.

Thursday Throwback cocktails at Ventiki are always a great time. Tonight we also got an ice cream sundae with white chocolate macadamia nut cookies and passion fruit syrup. Yum!

Drinks are good but vibes and food suck

Hello, I’m leaving a review because this is the third or fourth time I’ve attempted to enjoy Ventiki and have been refused service. I have always called ahead of time to ask what time they close off which is 10:15pm. Tonight I called at 9:57pm asking for the close off time and was told 10:15pm after asking three time since the girl could not hear me. I got there at 10:02pm and was told they were closed for the night by a blonde woman wearing a two piece dress. As I’m writing this review it’s still not even 10:15pm. I called Ventiki again after I left to ask again what time their cut off was. The girl who answered could not hear me. When she asked me to repeat myself I asked for her name, she went silent and then hung up on me. I would like to know if the owner supports this or not, I normally don’t even leave reviews for stuff like this. But this time I’m disappointed because I called ahead knowing that they close at 10:15pm to confirm they were closing at that time. Do you guys typically close ahead of time? The crew or bar tender (which is what the woman told me up front) decided they were closing within the 5 minutes I called as I was walking to Ventiki. Id like a response from the owner so that I may plan ahead of time if I even decide to come back. The front entrance employees have always been standoffish but I’ve always chosen to ignore and enjoy Ventiki. Tonight I just couldn’t especially because I went under the impression that they were still open because they said that they were.

You will not be disappointed at this tiki bar, great food, great drinks, and an amazing atmosphere and experience. All the pulled pork sandwiches taste amazing and they have some great drinks that come with a full experience!
