All I can say is wow 😮. We had such a great experience last night when we dined here. We were assisted by Julie who I believe was fairly new to be being a server after having helped out in different positions, hostess, take out etc. This young lady has a future with the Woodranch family should she choose to continue this calling. She was so attentive and cordial. What a wonderful experience. She knew the menu well and accommodated our desire to order our appetizers first and allowed us to finish these first and then order our main entrees which came out just it time and were absolutely DELICIOUS 😋. What a wonderful young lady. And then we met Barbara the manager. What an awesome representative of your establishment. Very kind and courteous and it’s no wonder the staff is great. Barbara is doing an outstanding job with the personnel. Both are super spectacular reps for Woodranch. Looking forward to many more wonderful dining experiences. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Wood Ranch in Ventura is easily one of my favorite BBQ restaurants, and it’s clear why it’s such a crowd-pleaser. I’m still sad about the Arcadia location closing, but the Ventura branch keeps the vibe alive. We visited the Manhattan Beach spot last month, and today we stopped at Ventura for another dose of their amazing BBQ.

The food is just phenomenal—those garlic rolls are pure heaven. Warm, buttery, and packed with garlicky goodness, I could eat them all day. The BBQ baby back ribs are the real deal—tender, smoky, and coated in that signature sauce that’s just perfect. And Natalie’s Salad? It’s a non-negotiable order for us. Fresh, crisp, and the ideal balance to the hearty BBQ.

The service was great too. Our server was super friendly and took care of all our requests, which always makes the meal even better. If you’re in the mood for top-notch BBQ in a laid-back setting, Wood Ranch in Ventura never disappoints. Already looking forward to our next visit!

The food is always fantastic and the service is great.

First time trying wood ranch and was disappointed the only good thing was the bread and mac n cheese. My steak was way under cooked and over priced. Super chewy and red. My companion ribs were burnt and dry with barely any bbq sauce on them. Our sides were decent but still not to the price quality they put out. They focused too much on the side courses instead of the main course. Service was decent to much going on for just 3 servers at a peak time. Food is way to overpriced for the quality definitely will not be coming back there is way better bbq spots in Ventura and Oxnard that will be worth your money.

Perfect place to order take out for friends after a court victory! Great deal for tri tip & ribs with all the sides. The tri tip here is sooo delicious and they pack it up with everything you need. Next time I'm dining in!

Pretty good place all around. I've had different meals and in all my visits the one I always come back too is The Ultimate. Pretty good burger with lots pack for its punch. Definitely worth the $23. Servers are pretty good and welcoming. Artichoke dippers are always a go to here. The sliders aren't bad either. The Only 1 negative I can give this place is the Wings. Pretty disappointing not gonna lie. Overall, if you don't wanna pay a Hefty penny at Black Angus or Outback Steak house. Give WoodRanch a try it's worth the price

Greatcsalads, tri tip, chicken and ribs are pretty good. Prices are decent. Not the greatest BBQ out there, but a solid spot for a bite.

Parking: It's outside of a dying mall so there's so much parking
