Decided to grab some food on the way home from work. I decided to go with “The works” all the meats were delicious. The chicken was the best for sure. Tender and juicy. The rice was a little bland but other than that everything was good. They give you a lot of sauces as well. As you can tell in the pic I uploaded. The price was also reasonable. I’ve been to other Mediterranean places and they didn’t serve as much meat. So that’s a plus.

Chicken and beef was not fully cooked. It was rushed. They dont use rice it was something else. I def wont be eating from here again. But its my own opinion.

Food is good, and has a milder flavor. Large portions for a girl like me. I found it a little disappointed that the salad has no olives though - I thought they would have green olives in it.... Service wasn't the best, the lady taking the order seemed almost annoyed at us for some reason. The environment is a little run down too, feel a bit like a hole in a wall. It's generally okay but for the price, I would honestly just go to Cava instead if I have a choice - the only thing they do better is meat which I actually don't care for as much when I feel like eating Mediterranean.

As a middle eastern I would like to say this place is amazing! Their chicken wrap with the patatoes on the side was absolutely delicious and bursting with flavor!!!
Food is really delicious!!! I had #19 - The Works A skewer of U.S.D.A. Choice steak kabob, our famous chicken kabob, lean ground beef kofta, golden brown falafel patties, and dolmas (stuffed grape leaves).

I used to work on Alameda & 51st since 2017. The Green Olive was one of my go-to places for lunch. Quick, efficient, reasonably priced, and delicious. The ingredients are fresh & the food is flavourful. All the workers are really nice. The restaurant is tiny, so this isn't a good place for large groups, but you can place an order with them and pick up orders for office for multiple people or yourself. Sadly, we moved offices to DTLA, and I've been trying to find a Mediterranean place yara just as good and has that amazing green hot sauce. No one has or will ever come close to The Green Olive. Trust me when I say I've been to several in the area. I love in East LA, so sometimes I'll order delivery. My daughter loves in the IE & same, we've been trying to find a good Mediterranean restaurant in her area and it's the same. They're alright, but nothing can beat The Green Olive. The closest one to her is in Santa Ana. So the search continues. My favorite doses are the salmon wrap. I'm not a fan of salmon, but this wrap is amazing. I love the falafels because they are not bland and are flavourful. I love the grilled veggies and tabouli salad, but I can not get enough of The Fattoush salad & the green hot sauce. The sauce is like crack. Once you taste it, you'll want it again and again.
Parking: It's a small parking lot shared by other restaurants. During lunch, it tends to get packed.

What a gem. I got a #7 and it was really good. The SAUCES are honestly just fantastic their Tzatziki was so fresh and the house green sauce had a nice tinge of heat, falafel was perfectly cooked, hummus was good, highly recommend!!
