On my first visit, I did experience a bit of a wait, but let me tell you, it was well worth it! The meat in my tacos was incredibly well-flavored, showcasing the authentic taste of Mexican cuisine. You can tell they put a lot of care into their recipes. The atmosphere is casual, and the staff is friendly, which adds to the overall experience.
I returned a second time, and I’m happy to say that the wait was much shorter, which made for a quicker lunch. I tried a few different dishes, and everything was consistently delicious. The portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable, making it an excellent choice for anyone looking for a satisfying meal without breaking the bank.
If you're in the mood for tasty Mexican food that you can grab on the go, I highly recommend giving Taqueria El Comandante a try. I can see this place quickly becoming a local favorite!

I came to get some food around 9pm and two guys we're outside hanging out and blocking the drive through where you order. I don't know what's going on but it felt sketchy. So I took off. I called the place and it went straight to voicemail. I wouldn't come here at night.

Ordered bean and cheese burrito and carne asada taco and a coke which they were out of so settled for Dr. Pepper. Beans were a bit too salty for my taste and the taco was good taste wise only thing was the lack of meat only about one inch pretty measly. Came to $15 bucks. The hot sauce/salsa was really good and definitely my favorite which sounds like nothing much but good salsa is hard to find. Next time it'll be chips and salsa. Will I come back? Probably not. Do I recommend? I'd say give it a try you be the judge because there are plates that people loved I'd try one of them.
