Archibald's Drive-Thru

Ordered a double cheeseburger since the patties looked thin, fries and zucchini. The fries and zucchini were soggy... and the zucchini cost 10 bucks so that sucked. The burger had no flavor.. the meat had no seasoning at all. My stomach started hurting after 3 bites. Lived up here 20 years and was curious about this place ... omg I dont know how they are still in business. Do not recommend at all

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE: AWFULL FOOD, BAD SERVICE AND TINY PORTIONS
⭐ 1-Star Review: Heartbroken and Disgusted — This Place Has Completely Gone Downhill!

I can’t believe I’m even writing this… I’ve been coming to this place for years. Every time I drove to Los Angeles, it was my go-to stop. I used to love it here — good food, good vibe, dependable service. But after my last visit, I can honestly say: never again.

Last night, my husband and I stopped by, and from the moment we walked in, it just felt off. There was no one at the counter, no greeting, nothing. The cashier was too busy taking the trash out instead of taking our order. We waited about five minutes before he even noticed us.

When we finally ordered, there was no one in the kitchen. Then the shift manager, Julia, came out from the back, clearly angry that she had to cook. What shocked me the most was that she started cooking without washing her hands — just grabbed things and got to work like it was nothing. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing.

While waiting for our food, another customer came in complaining about his order being wrong and only getting half the fries he paid for. That should’ve been our warning sign.

When we got our food… it was an absolute disaster. My chicken sandwich tasted like old oil — literally like engine grease. The food was disgusting, the fries were soggy, and the portions were tiny, not even close to what they used to serve. And to top it all off, that sandwich cost $15 — highway robbery for what we got!

I went up to the cashier and asked why the portions were so small, and he actually said, “The restaurant isn’t doing well, so we have to cut portions in half.” That’s insane — and unethical. Customers are paying full price and getting ripped off!

We spent over $50 for food that we couldn’t even finish because it was that bad. I left feeling angry, disappointed, and honestly sad. This used to be one of my favorite places — now it’s a place I’ll never step into again.

If you’re thinking about stopping here — don’t. Save yourself the money, the disappointment, and the bad taste (literally). This experience was absolutely terrible.

Worse experience ever, we ordered a chicken sandwich the taste was horrible like it was cook over old oil, service was bad, not friendly at all. I don’t know what happend to this place it was good before. I attached the picture it was sooo small like a Chicken slider and for the cost I paid about $50 total and not worth it i will never go there again. We drive 2 hours going to california, it used to be affordable now it’s expensive, horrible food and horrible service of i could give a 0 Stars i would unfortunaly doesnt let me.

I'm sorry 😞😐😐😐 your burgers are garbage the chili horrible this restaurant burger stand has fell off those fries was the worst tasting thing. I ever had in my life and you raise the price and quality has diminished. That chili burger make you want to throw up. Your burgers are nasty your chili it 🤢 terrible for $30 you got to be kidding me one of the worst burgers I ever had in my entire life.

I drove 20mins to this place. I was craving a taco. I ended up getting a salad. They are usually good. I was confused by how it was chopped…. Big ole pieces. 🤭. I got braces soo I threw those bell peppers out. Not gonna risk braking a bracket. Still yummy overall
