“Jan 26 update:
No waiting necessary on a Tuesday afternoon. The food has stabilized as expected. Seafood heavy menu.
I took one of each sushi, all of them good to fair with no off flavors. The star of the show is the new addition of steamed fish, I think flounder. Service is acceptable.
Overall firmly recommended.
JUN25 update:
Waiting time for Sunday evening 17:30 is 25 minutes. When we left at 19:30 there's no waiting for table. So go early or late, not peak. You take a number card on the left side of the entrance lobby, make sure the young lady note down your number and wait to be called.
The spread is one of the biggest I've seen this side of las Vegas. It's important to take one piece or at most two to start, or it's impossible to sample everything on offer. Pile on later if you are not already under the table.
Sushi are all okay. I tried every type and none are unacceptable . Not comparable to a real Japanese restaurant handmade stuff, but for all you can eat it's above average. The sashimi is slightly disappointing - the tuna suffered from suboptimal defrosting or storage, being below expectations on flavour and texture.
Next is the teppanyaki. No expense was spared with flanken ribs (calbi) provided. The steaming hot finished dish has strong flavour profile and recommended.
Four soups are available. I'd recommend the seafood tofu as it's almost comparable to restaurant fare, with the hot and sour not far behind.
Full salad bar with cold seafood. Octopus and vinegar chicken paws are recommended, although the latter could use more cooking time for a softer texture.
Five counter's worth of entrees are available. All are acceptable to very good. Some are rarely available at buffets like BBQ pork bun, not that it's so good it'll put dim sum joints out of business, but for variety. The only exception is the salt and pepper shrimp, which suffered from the same problem as the sashimi, although the other shrimp dishes are okay.
Big desert table, including cream cakes and fruit. Ice cream is really good for a buffet. Score one for kid friendliness.
Service is acceptable, I experienced no issues mentioned in other reviews.
Since it just opened, I feel a few dishes are below expectations is not surprising. I hope they will sort out the teething issues, for instance some could be equipment or procedures related and would not be difficult to effect improvement. There's no doubt that the back kitchen can deliver reasonably good food for such an ambitious spread.
Overall firmly recommended. For $22 it's unbelievable value. Big choices big flavours.

“Food: This is your standard Chinese Buffet place. They do have Coconut Shrimp and Salt and Pepper Squid that I don't see in most buffets. Their Hibachi area creates good food as well. Sushi selection is decent. Tons of seafood options.
Service: Servers roam around to fill drinks and clear used plates from tables.
Ambiance: Good for couples. Family and friends nights. Plenty of ooths and tables available.
Value: Prices were reasonable for the quality of food and service. About $42 for 2 people without drinks.“
