I am writing to express my disappointment regarding a recent family order. I had requested a carnitas bowl, and while ordering other items, I did not carefully check the bowl, assuming it would be prepared as requested. Upon arriving home, I discovered that my bowl contained only a small amount of carnitas, resulting in what was essentially a rice and bean bowl. This was rather disheartening, particularly considering the price, as I had anticipated a more substantial portion of protein.

I don't like the way the food cools down fast and the protein are soft cooked. The employee stair at you like cattle

I was a frequent customer, today is my last time coming here. Portions are a lot less than they were. $32 for basically 1 bowl (purchased 2)

The food has always been good, but the service is a hit or miss. It doesn't matter whether there is a lunch rush or a steady trickle of customers, tables and floors tend to be filthy.

First time going to this location and it was disappointing. I literally got 2 small bites of barbaquoa. The bowl was packed to the top with everything except for protein. First and last time!
It is a typical Chipotle establishment! This one is conveniently located close to Walmart near Palmdale Road, in Victorville! In 2020, when I would visit my relatives in High Desert, during COVID-19 lockdowns, I would order take out food, through Uber Eats, from this establishment. At that time, the meals were well made, and delivered on time. So, at the end of 2024, during Holiday season, I came to visit this establishment again. Oh boy, I was not disappointed. The meals, that I would order, were quite delicious, and well-made. At the same time, the lines, inside the restaurant, were moving fast. Of course, I cannot forget to mention, the staff members were courteous and helpful. Not only staff members were courteous, the tables, too, were neat, and there was ample of space to sit down, and enjoy food. Of course, price wise, it could get expensive, especially their brisket bowls. Still, I did not mind paying the price, since meals were well-made. So, if anyone is in High Desert, specifically Victorville area, I would recommend to stop by this establishment. The meals, themselves, are worth the visit!

I've never been a big fan of Chipotle but this one was actually pretty good. So much so I actually would crave it from time to time. Idk who yall got back there cooking the rice but it's been hard my last few visits. I probably would have g8ven 5 stars if it wasn't for that.
LIVE BUG in my $20 bowl. Definitely won’t be eating here again. All the manager had to say was that “it’s in the lettuce” as if they don’t wash their veggies. The restaurant is always messy and dirty. The managers are rude and portions are small.

I have never had a worse experience with Chipotle. They had under cooked, cold dried black beans. The rice was the same, under cooked and dried. Not sure if thry chsnged the quality of their ingredients or the service?
UPDATE MAY 13 2025:
Aftermarket first review, corporate contacted me. The representative for Chipotle was very apologetic and offered a coupon to make amends. I said that was very nice and figured to never redeem it. Never to suffer THAT again. HOWEVER... I dropped the car at the Ford dealership and thought, why not! I pulled in and ordered the double burrito, without the guacamole, sourcream or cheese. Not taking any chances. It was GREAT!!! SERVICE WAS STELLAR! I made two meals out of it. HAPPY I DID TRY AGAIN! Give it a try if you had any apprehension before. I was VERY PLEASED.
Explosive diarrhea in 2 hours. Best laxative money can buy!
Update: The next day, Chipotle in Ohio called after I made them aware of my surprising experience. The person was sympathetic and understood the situation. Apologized for any inconvenience and was very concerned with any sickness complaints. My visit was a couple hours after lunch rush, maybe hot or cold parts of serving trays at wrong temperature. Living in the high desert, I've eaten off of roadside taco trucks and Tijuana street vendors. Without issues. I've never eaten at Chipotle before because of the previous complaints and legal issues. Since I was at the tire store, I thought I would try it. Flavor was good, price is kind of high. 20 dollars for a bowl with soda. Don't know if maybe guacamole was old or whatever. Corporate was attentive and kind. I might try again, maybe when ingredients are peak freshness.
Have seen a decline in the amount of protein ( meat ) they put in the food.
