I will never come sit down and eat her again . Rude staff. Also I’m a paying customer and they can’t give the code for the restroom instead they have to open it for you. Make it feel like there a bad atmosphere here if they feel like they can’t give the code to the restroom while your having lunch with your family . Food took too long. And now I’m not comfortable to go wash my hands

I still love this place, but I can honestly say it’s not always consistent and I order the same 2 items every time. I ate here 2x this week and for some reason they couldn’t get my sandwich correct. The previous day they forgot the cheese and then tonight I asked for no spread (I always ask for no spread) and they for some reason thought I would love mayonnaise instead. Unfortunately I hate mayonnaise and I had to remove so much of the bread, cheese and almost some of the chicken patty itself.

We love Down Home Grill! All of their staff are so lovely and attentive. The food is great and they are conscious of pricing for everyone with their “inflation menu” that has lower priced options. They also have a lot of Gluten Free options, which is so rare, and they take anyone with any type of allergy/dietary restriction very seriously. Love this place.

I get food from here pretty often, haven’t had an issue in the past. Actually I ate from
here 3 times this week alone.

Today my breakfast burrito was all tortilla.
Insane. Whoever cooks in the afternoon needs advice from the morning cook.

The food and service here has recently gone down hill. My family and I have something from
here at least once a week. It’s the better food option health wise and variety wise.

The lack of consistency is upsetting. I originally thought it was a time of day thing because that happens when you have different cooks. Then the customer service took a decline. I don’t get it. We tip and don’t ever dine inside.

Breakfast burritos - the size is tiny almost like a microwave burrito some days and other days it’s regular size (what you expect.
The breakfast burritos are either bone dry and no flavor or just right. So, it must be whoever those cooks are.

3 times in a row we get 4 salsas for 2 breakfast burritos. I go the 4th time and they say “it’s one per burrito” and they’ll charge for any additional sauces. We’ve probably had 20 breakfast burritos in the last two months and never have we been charged for sauce.

The same thing has happened with chicken strips, bowls, and salads. If you allow one sauce per item that’s fine, and I don’t care about paying.

It’s the consistency. Sometimes it’s like food can’t possibly come from down home. One day it’s not an issue a the next day it is.

I love to support small businesses and I really hope things get better because our food options in the High Desert are not great.

I did call to speak to the manager last week and was told to leave a message. Did that. Called yesterday and asked for an email, was told it could not be provided. So today, I’m hoping someone in charge actually pays attention to these recent reviews.

I’ve been eating here since 2014, maybe even before but things have changed this last year. I’m really hoping they get better.

Food it excellent 👌 service is always friendly and polite except on Tuesdays afternoons when blondie it's hating on loyal customers and talking bad about them for trying to move a table to accommodate a family of 3..seriously rude and annoying 😑 ask for food to go..the restaurant was empty but here she's hating on loyals

I used to really enjoy eating at this place and supporting a local small business. However, my order has been wrong several times in the last few months. Also, the customer service from the girls behind the counter has gone downhill big time. They are never consistent, and should consider a huge rehire. Sadly I won’t be going here anymore.
