El Tejocote restaurant

This Mexican bistro has been operating for 10 years now. Providing consistent low cost and high value entrées to High Desert patrons. Located east of Walmart on Palmdale road.

The food is not good, they use canned sauces and meats instead of preparing it fresh.
Prices are expensive compared to other fast food places. The inside looks dirty and the workers are rude.

This place was terrific 👏. I'll be definitely going back again. Fresh food , clean restaurant.

1st time trying this place and let me tell you that the pupusas are so good. Not greasy at all, has really good flavor. We got pupusas revueltas. We also got tamales but I didn’t like them 😞. We will be going back for the pupusas and bread 😋

Jose and his family are awesome, very kind and great service. The food is amazing. Great prices as well.
Fresh taste and the meat is high quality, no sketchy fatty junk here!

They take a long time, they just talk in the kitchen.

Chips and salsa are about the best I’ve had. So glad I passed up chipotle for this place. Authentic Mexican food at its best

They looked like they don't like other race coming to they restaurant i came here all the time back in 2021 always ordered the same thing which was a carne burrito with only meat cheese and sour cream. they use to put a good amount of meat cheese and sour cream . tell me why i came today 08/02/2024 spent 30$ on a burrito thats not even bigger than my hand . i feel like if i was gone spend worst mexican restaurant in the high desert wouldn't waste my time and money nomore High dont RECOMMEND!!!!!

Should've read the reviews before I got chicken nachos here. The chicken was not good, tasted old and why was it in such small pieces like pebble sized chicken. I think I'll get chipotle instead next time, sorry. Also why are you going to ask me if I want guacamole if you're not going to give me guacamole?

It was my first and last time ever eating here. We ordered two pupusas revuelta. Tasted like beans nd cheese only. we were given a small bag of rotten cortido. They barely gave any salsa de tomate. Will never return nd I do not recommend.

Ordered pupusas and we were given 4 bags of spoiled curtido. Definitely won’t be going back

Rude customer service!! Owners act like they’re doing the customer a favor. Inside restaurant is dirty and cluttered. Food is tasteless and un flavorful.
