I went to the Wingstop next door and bought some wings. I decided to go inside this Chinese restaurant and take a look because the sign on the window said they had Wonton soup. I bought the wonton soup and the orange chicken. My receipt was dated 12/08/2024 at 11:43 a.m.. The Wonton soup was okay but not great. I would not go back again for the wonton soup because the vegetables were not bite-size, but rather big chunks that were way oversized and could have been cut into four pieces. The orange chicken tasted like and looked as if it had been left over from 1 or 2 days before and just warmed up. So nothing special about it either. I looked inside the bag and didn't see a spoon so I asked one of the young ladies if I could have a spoon. She said it should already be in the bag and so I looked again and felt around in the bag and didn't feel a spoon, so I told her I didn't see one in the bag. She got me a spoon and dumped it in the bag and turned around and walked away. So I just said thank you. When I got home it turns out she was right and there was a spoon in the bag after all. I wear glasses and I didn't see it and I felt around in the bag and I hadn't felt it. So I ended up with two spoons. No apologies necessary because I was very polite and nice when I asked for the spoon. I don't remember being thanked by the young woman who came to the cash register and rung up my order, but I'm not sure if she said thank you or not. I am a black man and I wonder if my color had anything to do with the interactions. The young ladies didn't give me the feeling that I was not welcome, but I just kind of felt like maybe they had been mistreated by some other Afro-American slash Black customers or something and were maybe a little short with me perhaps. Overall, the three young ladies I interacted with were nice enough and professional enough, so they are not the reason that I probably won't go back. It's just the food was not as expected. There were other items on the menu that I would like to try but I'm not sure I would go out of my way to go back to this restaurant. I'm not telling others not to go and I hope others have a better experience than I did. But as for me personally, my recommendation to myself is probably not to go back. But you never know, I may end up giving them another try in the future. I just feel like at least some of the $14.84 including a $1.80 tip I spent was wasted especially on the orange chicken. The one-star rating is mostly for the food as that is the main reason I came in.
[UPDATE 10/25/2025] READERS, ARE YOU NOTICING HOW THIS RESTAURANT SEEMS TO RESPOND TO ALL THE POSITIVE REVIEWS, BUT I DON'T SEE ONE RESPONSE TO ANY OF THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS. I GUESS IT'S FAIR TO ASSUME THAT THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS ARE IN FACT TRUE!!

Worst experience ever just got off the phone with my bank disputing charges that they were charging me after I walked out. All because I complained there was flies on the food behind a counter. Most disgusting place and I've been there before but I will never go back again. At those prices if you live in Victorville I'd rather go to w spoon and have more food and better accommodations.

You gotta try the shrimp fried rice with the extra shrimp. It is very good. Also the chow mein with the shrimp. They're like jumbo shrimp. The food is very delicious and the proportions are just right. It still tastes good even the next day as a leftover.

I was pleasantly surprised by how fantastic the Thai tea was, and I truly appreciated the extra sauce I received for my beef and broccoli. Thank you for that!

Do not order the shrimp fried rice it was trash, big chunks of shrimp non-grilled the rice was hard due to re-cooking again they should use fresh day old rice , not the rice already cooked in the front. They literally gave 3 to 4 pounds of rice, which was ridiculous too much with only a few shrimps and then their whole egg not cut up. They didn’t even have the decency to chop that up fully. There was large egg pieces. The cooks in the back just lazy.. Will not return or recommend

The portion sizes were pathetic. We ordered two family of 4 meals and it was barely enough to feed five people. Four meals worth of food came in two takeout meal trays like what an individual person would get. Food was okay but we live 5 minutes away and it was cold by the time we got home. I will not be back.

The location on Roy Rodgers has a whole new crew. I ordered my usual plate and the food taste has changed, the orange chicken was dry. The kung pao chicken which I loved tasted different. I been giving this company business for years . Fix your food I will not be spending a dime with you guys !
VERY YUMMY FOOD!!
I came in before they closed and they took well care of me ! Would definitely come back !
