I got my food to go. It was hot & delicious. The sizes have gotten smaller, and the prices have gone up, but I still enjoy getting food from this restaurant.

I've been coming to this restaurant for over 20 years. I used to know the previous owners as well. It is under new ownership. And I would have to say that it is a welcome addition to the high desert. I greatly enjoyed their selection as I celebrated Chinese New Year here with my family. And was pleasantly surprised in a positive way. Keep up the good work!

My family is from Hong Kong and I am first generation American born. Up here in the high desert there are zero authentic Chinese, food restaurants, however, Golden Gate is the closest to Authentic Chinese food more than any other Chinese restaurant in the high desert. I eat here frequently because of it. It's a must try.

Golden Gate Chinese Restaurant is the worst Chinese restaurant in the high desert area. The food that I had was sweet and sour shrimps. they were overcooked super crunchy, and the service person was awful.Five stars from where? Yeah that's right.
I like the cleanliness of this establishment and friendly customer service, but some of the food is flavorless, and dry like the rice, noodles, shrimp fried rice, and green bean chicken.
