I love sushi and have tried many sushi places in the high desert. I tried this place for the first time 6 years ago and it was great that time. My family and I went on a Sunday 10/27 and decided to try it out since Samurai Sushi was closed. First thing I noticed when walking in was a fish smell. Red flag already. The service was great but the food was not that good. The rolls are really small and don’t really have a good taste. My family got the chicken teriyaki rolls and said the chicken tasted fake. I tried one and couldn’t even eat it because it did not taste good and had to spit it out. I got the salmon roll and it tasted slimy and had a weird sauce that did not taste good. I forced myself to eat it. Overall Samurai Sushi is way better! I do not recommend coming here.

This was the first time I ate at this establishment. I enjoyed the atmosphere, food, and service.
The only issue was that there was very little meat in my bento box.

Expect a wait because this place is popular and gets very busy. It's worth it tho. Everything is very good. Excellent atmosphere, lighting, music, and decor. For a while I forgot I was in hesperia.

Food was good, ingredients fresh, service well paced. Little to no rice free roll options. Rolls were soft and easy to chew but didn't fall apart.

The katsunori special is a must order, so flavorful and always fresh.
The spicy garlic edamame is a sleeper hit, such a common menu item but this version is really top notch. Nutty garlic taste and the spicy is just right can't get simpler or tastier.
It can get a bit crowded and loud so if that's not your vibe make sure to go early for lunch when it's a bit quieter.
