I went there on a Tuesday night with my husband and grandson. There were 6 tables empty....they asked us our names 3 times....but did not send us to a table. We waited 20 minutes. They did not say they were sorry..they ignored us.. the owner saw us and said hi...but they did not get us a table...we left after 20 minutes...went to Red Robin. ??? that was rude

This place is a High Desert gem, no one can deny but I went recently and my food wasn't as good as I remember. I got a hard chicken taco and it had zero flavor.

I also go the albondigas and the soup was missing something-- salt?

The atmosphere is wonderful as usual and the staff is absolutely the sweetest.

Just curious if maybe they got a new person cooking or something?

The food was very bland. I got the chicken tacos with rice with rice and beans. The beans had zero flavor as well. The salsa was good but that’s it. I would not go back.

I got the chili relleno and taco combo. Loved the beans and rice the taco didn't have a lot of meat the chili relleno was good...long Island ice tea was great ?

My mother and I tried La Casita and I must say, THE FOOD WAS HORRIBLE! They brought out the chips & salsa, which tasted bland. The salsa had no seasoning in it, so I added salt & pepper to see if it would help; it didn't. It was also watered down (maybe too many tomatoes?). I ordered the carne asada nachos & a taco. The red sauce on the nachos was SWEET! ? It tasted awful! I even asked if the sauce was mole bc of the sweetness, but was told it's their enchilada sauce (?). I tried to pick around it but they drenched the nachos in this red sauce. So then I tried my taco... just a basic ground beef taco. I figured they couldn't mess that up bc tacos are super easy! I was wrong ? The meat came with a weird aftertaste. My mom ended up eating the rest of the taco bc I just couldn't stomach it.

The service could've been better, too. We waited several minutes for the waiter to bring us the check, but I eventually had to flag him down so he'd return to our table.

I really wanted to like this place! It has a cute atmosphere, seemed busy, but the food is just disgusting and the service is subpar. I would've had better-tasting food at Del Taco ?. IMO Mexican food isn't hard to make, but they failed. My usual go-to Mexican spot is PV's or the food trucks. Guess I'll stick to those ??‍♀️

Food is good, however I feel it has changed. Been coming here for many years, and only in the past year or so can I say it doesn’t seem the same. Even the service. Location is nice.

I'm very disappointed in the food here also it was so hot we couldn't even eat because we were sweating like crazy. We spent over 65 dollars for 2 people and for the air conditioner not to work properly was ridiculous. We ended up paying and leaving our food there. Don't waste your money at this restaurant.

Well normally we dine in but we have taken out a few times also. Here in the last 3 times ordering out they just dont get the order right! My mom likes the Chile Verde burrito but wet and with Extra sauce..I mean lotsa sauce.Hey I like mine extra wet also! I tell the guy placing the order to please make it Extra wet and I know or hope he's writing it down but wonder if he really is or the cooks can't read but it's never what we want.Its always lacking on the sauce when we get home! Why? What's the problem here? Please double check with the cooks to make sure they comprehend whats the customer wants! Its easy!! SMH!!!?
