The wife and I come in about every other month to this place The food is always great the service is great The music is a little loud at times but if you sit in the far back by the bar you will be good My favorite place up in high desert for seafood

Mariscos El Shaka offers a lively atmosphere and live music, but our recent experience left much to be desired. The prices were on the higher side, and we found the value-for-money quite lacking. The service was average, and while the ambiance was enjoyable, the overall experience was dampened by the high prices and the lackluster quality of the drinks. Spending close to $200 for a few drinks that were notably weak in alcohol content was disappointing. While the live music was a draw, the overall value and experience fell short of expectations. Unfortunately, this visit did not inspire a return visit any time soon.

Food was good didn't taste bad , just was crazy expensive which usually I don't mind spending but came out to like $130 for me and my kids and they had gotten the kids meal. Price isn't an issue it was the amount of food given a molcagete idk if I spelled that right. But usually it's for 2 or more I finished it by myself very small portions of food. Some of tostadas hardly had shrimp mainly vegetables. Only gave 3 stars to service because I asked if they can seat us somewhere not to loud since they have band music and they placed us literally in the booth next to the band crazy smh . . Whenever I go to other restaurants like Texas roundhouse or panchos villa and order the same amount of food usually somewhere from 60-90 bucks . Only naming those since they're usually more pricier these guys here charge like 33 a plate wild
