Their food is absolutely horrible. They used to have one of the best steaks in the high desert. Then they decided to get their steaks from Sysco's, and it's the worst steak I've ever eaten by far. I won't go back there ever ever again.

You get service with a smile. They have enough workers that you don't feel neglected. Everyone seems to be helping each other. The food came out in a timely manner. My salad was delicious. The steak was super moist & loaded baked potato was gooood! I added the mushrooms & onions. I had never had it with purple onions. It was ok, but I think I still prefer the yellow or white onion over the purple. I wish the mushrooms were cut a little thicker, and there would have been a little juice. Nephew got the burger with 2 patties, fries & drink. They kept his drink refills coming. He enjoyed both his burger & fries. We added a banana split for dessert. It was delicious as well. They didn't skimp on the ice cream or the toppings. I had enough of my main course left to enjoy for lunch the next day. I am looking forward to my next visit to Riches. Too bad I didn't take any pictures, but the presentation was beautiful.

On the way back from a road trip, our group (5) wanted to get something to eat before it was over. We had actually wanted to go to Peggy Sue's over in Yermo, but we unfortunately had passed it before realizing it. Still wanting some diner food, we ended up going here instead. The main standout was our waitress for the day, she was attentive and accommodating and guided us to one of the available circle booths when it wasn't looking like our original seating was going to be comfortable. She was also very pleasant, which I think deserves 5-stars alone. In terms of the interior itself, it was pretty standard for a 50's diner, a lot of portraits/photos of celebrities of that era (particularly of Marilyn Monroe) with appropriately fitting music playing. Some of the tracks had some skipping, but it didn't happen too often enough. All of us ordered different things from the menu, I got the salmon (with clam chowder) after asking if it was available and we all agreed that everything tasted great. I'm a bit more biased with my order since I got something similar from a Denny's which was more lacking (although that was probably more due to how late we arrived there) and what I got here was much better. I can't say what this place is like if you eat here consistently enough, but at least for today, this was a nice ending for our trip and I liked it enough to try it out again if I'm ever in the area.

I decided to take my bf and his nephew to try richies cause they never have... unfortunately the only good thing I can say about our visit was the service ? my fish was gummy and tasted like freezer burn my bf burger was flavorless and the chilaquilles were just ok smh disappointing cause I really used to like their food But it has been more than four years since I visited this restaurant but I won't be going back...
