My grandma loves this place and she is very picky. The atmosphere is cozy and clean. Perfect for family, a friend's gathering, or a date. Service is excellent, they warmly welcome us in busy times and slow days. The servers check to make sure we are satisfied and if we need anything periodically but they do not pester. There is a tasty shisito pepper appetizer on the house and the food comes quickly. Every dish I have had is fresh, delicious and beautifully prepared. This family business puts in the extra effort. You can really tell their heart goes into their work and taste the love in the meals they serve.

Our waitress, Kimberly, was not only beautiful but also amazing at her job—attentive, kind, and welcoming. The service here is truly top-notch.
The sushi itself is stunning when it arrives at the table and even better once you taste it—so fresh, flavorful, and prepared with real care. Every bite was a 10 out of 10.
This place is easily a ten-star restaurant in our book. Friendly staff, gorgeous presentation, and the freshest sushi around. We will absolutely be back again and again!

I visit Samurai Sushi often, and I'm finally writing a review now. I often see many people sitting and enjoying their meals at the restaurant. The consistently appropriate amount of rice topped with large pieces of sushi is always enough to impress both those who eat it and those who see it. The recommended sushi rolls that change daily also allow diners to try a variety of options, which I find very satisfying. Although I don't order it often, I highly recommend the Hwe Dup Bap (sashimi rice bowl) if you want a filling meal with plenty of vegetables, large cuts of fish, and rice. The friendly staff and fast service are also satisfying. I highly recommend it!

Came with my daughters to eat lunch. We ordered a lot of food. It came out in a short amount of time. Service was really great. Food was fresh and well prepared. Even though they were short staffed, they went the extra mile to keep the great food coming, and to keep our drinks filled and plates cleared. This family owned restaurant is a must try, in my opinion. Would definitely reccomend.

Overall it was an excellent Dining experience the food was delicious and the hostess did a phenomenal job. Side note the complimentary app was probably one of the most elegant and tasty dishes I've ever eaten.

i love this restaurant - cannot stress enough, i LOVE this restaurant. this has been my only go-to sushi place for years. Ive never experienced anything less than amazing food and amazing service. however, the last time i visited i absolutely didn't have that same experience. for some context, my wife and i were coming in for our very last time because we were about ready to move out of country. the food, as per ALWAYS, was phenomenal. to this day, i have never had any complaints about the food, those chefs are absolutely amazing. the service, however, was a much different experience. when my wife and i arrived, there was only one other table in there, a four-top. what my wife and i experienced during the entire duration of our visit boils down to this — we got completely, entirely ignored in favor of the group of four. we had to signal for our own drinks, when we were ready to order, when we needed something extra, when we needed the bill AND when we needed to pay. i don't remember the waitresses name, but she's the only one i've ever seen wear black in the three years i've been coming. this was also my first time being served by her. from our perspective, the table of four was getting every single bit of attention. as we were eating, about four more tables came in and they received the same exact service we did. to say i'm disappointed would be an understatement, as my wife and i were hoping to have the same experience we've always had during our very last visit.
this review is not to make people steer clear of the restaurant - as stated previously, i adore this restaurant. the food is amazing, and before this last time, the service has always been amazing. i just wanted to shed light on our last experience, as it left both of us very disappointed.
(we also suspect she might have been training someone new, but we couldn't be certain - however, it still isn't a good reason to give service like that.)

Not much of a sushi person, or a seafood person! But I'll tear up a Green Train roll! This has to be the best sushi spot in the high desert hands down! Samurai never disappoints! The girls who host are always so kind, and always checking up on you! Love it here, for the high desert! The complimentary tempura peppers have to be my favorite!
