Santiago's Taco Shop #3

Decided to try this place because i've seen it for a while. Got a couple of burritos and was not impressed. They have something called a california burrito which basically has overcooked french fries in it.

I walked up to order and no one was there . I could see them in there making food but no one assisted me. So I left

Great quality food and excellent service. My dad is very picky, but he loved his burrito.

The quality of the food is better for fast mexican food. The meats good not chopped into tiny pieces. The quesadilla has a decent amount of meat. cheese is melted well some places rush the quesadillas and don't let all the cheese melt. The nachos are good they have good tortilla chips just don't like that they don't come with beans which makes the nachos really dry to eat i recommend adding beans its 1.50. I recommend to check your food they can get your order wrong make you waist time and drive back. Salsas are good red has good flavor

Order an Asada burrito just the meat and guacamole and then they did not put guacamole on my burrito. This has happened twice. I called them and they said they put guacamole on my burrito and they only put pico de gallo. What a bummer other restaurants still better than them

Tacos on point, salsa selections were all amazing.

Today is my second visit here. The first time the food was outstanding! Today the food it was so-so. Still not bad and I plan to finish my entire meal. Service was good.

I got the menudo and its really good, unfortunately, my partner said that the taco meat was so dry and didn’t really tasted good to the point he wanted to return it. I hope they do better!

Jose and his wife seem really cool and polite and today was my second time there and the birria tacos were mostly fat this time which my daughter and I really enjoyed last time with hardly any fat. I don't know if it's because we went later in the evening this time or what but a restaurant should be consistent with good quality food. I'm retired military and a single mom and really can't afford to waste food like that but I had no other choice but to throw it away. Plus the rice was to salty. I called the owner to let him know but I don't want to go back even if he gave me a free plate. Like I said before a restaurant should always be consistent with good quality food. Also they had the nerve to charge my debit .97 cents more than my receipt says and they don't have signs posted that it cost that much to use debit. I'll just dispute the charge with my bank. Thank God for cards instead of having to file a small claim in court! ?

Service was normal. But the food was bad. I had ordered the carne asada fries. The fries looked old, and the meat didn't taste that great or look good.

I also got some carnitas tacos. The tortillas weren't all the way cooked and the meat was sooo dry. I'm a little sad. I thought from the reviews that it'd be good.

Came here with my partner we ordered 2 torras the carne asada one tasted old and the carnitas were extremely salty. The sodas we initially got didn’t have gas and had to pay additional for bottled sodas. Service was alright but the food wasn’t good.

We stopped here for a carnitas and pastor burrito and they were delicious! Highly recommend Santiago's!
