I usually always receive outstanding service, and the food is great. However, during this visit this employee (unwilling to tell me her name) was extremely rude, she doesn’t speak English and had another woman who is also an employee translate my order. When I received it , it was wrong and my order was given to the person ahead of me. When I asked for a correction the employee was rude and snatched my food and the bag away from me, and told me I’m wrong that’s what I ordered, despite my receipt saying otherwise. She then walked away speaking in Spanish. When she returned she started speaking to me (a black woman) in Spanish again, I then told her to just give me a refund. She refused and just starred at me, & was insinuating that I’m trying to fight her before calling over the woman who translated my order.. This woman’s customer service is disgusting and unwelcoming. I’ve been a loyal customer for over 2 years and have never experienced anything as disgusting as this.

After reading some reviews, I would like to start by saying that I respect all kinds of opinions even when I do not agree with some of them. Taco Grande is a small restaurant that offers great food at a reasonable price, considering that everything, absolutely everything today costs us double or more than it did four years ago. Taco Grande retains the flavor of its dishes that have made it known over the years. It also has very respectful and friendly staff.

Store is in a small strip of 3 stores, two of which are shut down. Ordering was quick and cashier was friendly and helpful. Our food took a while to get with only 1 other customer and a take-out customer waiting. You no longer get chips & salsa for dine-in orders. Food was decent at best, my burrito looking good sized on the outside, was wrapped in two tortillas to look big. Taste was ok. Wife had a combo plate and beans were good. I'm afraid this place has fallen into what a lot of other places do. Cutting ingredients/quality is a recipe for disaster!

Last night I ate at Taco Grande with my daughter. It had been more than a year since my last visit. My epectations were that we would receive great food at reasonable prices. I noticed the over the counter menu had missing prices but did not think much about it at the time (my mistake) as I had eaten here many times over the years without incident. My daughter ordered the 2 relleno combination with a Michelada. I ordered the carne asada combo with a fountain drink. I threw in a 15% tip for good measure. The bill was $50!!!! That was enough to feed a large family for a month in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco. Food arrived quickly and quality was sadly just ok. Given the exorbitant prices, even taking into consideration its Cerpenteria, and the mediocre meals we were greatly disappointed. It made me wonder what happened to the orginal Taco Grande that had amazing food with fair prices. Regretably we will not be returning.

Long story short the food was terrible. I had the super burrito with birria meat. It consisted mostly of beans. It had no flavor and it was cold. I took about 4 bites and couldn’t stomach it no more. About forty minutes later, I started feeling nauseous, bloated, dizzy, sweaty, clammy, and blurred vision. The advice nurse at my medical facility said it could be food poisoning and to stay hydrated, and if my symptoms don’t go away after 24 hours to come in. This was my first and last time I will ever eat here.

The food is good but, I almost broke a tooth biting into a rock that was inside my burrito! Maybe they don’t wash their beans
As always Taco Grande has great food, friendly service and always fresh ?

The asada tacos were delicious and authentic. We got the 2 taco plate with rice and beans. And as the name states, they were GRANDE. The meat quality was also very good, well seasoned and not fatty nor gristly like some other places. The red and green salsas were also very tasty and not overly spicy. I will definitely stop by with the family again. Highly recommend!

This place is horrible, I’ve tried this place twice now and both time the burritos are full of nothing but beans no meat whatsoever they literally give no meat at all it’s crazy. Will not return it’s horrible, they should just keep the meat with what little they give 1/10 do not recommend.
